Randy Gregory! This is why I am Excited!

noticed he goes on the snap count, you can get away with tht in HS and some in college but in the pros it'll be " encroachment defense"

He played 8 games last year and did nothing. I saw a guy that looked disinterested with no heart. He is also going to come back rusty again.

Would I be happy if? Sure I would. He was my favorite pick last year.
I tend to disagree about his rookie season even though he had no sacks not sure if you saw this article on BTB but it is a
Interesting analysis of Gregory in rookie season

Let's just hope he turns it around

He has pass rush skills no doubt. the run is another matter. I saw a guy a lot of the time late in games that was disinterested.

I have ZERO hope that he can be a long term solution at DE for this team. You would be wise to adopt that position. Even if the kid is clear for an entire year, its one more slip up and hes gone for a year. I just dont see this kid staying clean. He has real real mental issues.

If he gets suspended again for 10 games I might, but I am willing to give him another chance I think we can both agree let's hope your wrong so we didn't waste another draft pick !

Being wrong would be wonderful. Im glad at least someone is holding out hope.

Stay clean and produce on the field, then I'll get excited. Until then meh, and I doubt it ever happens.

Him loving football and having a problem are not mutually exclusive. Quit parroting Broaddus who has admitted he has no idea about those types of things.

The plain truth is, it is a very rare event when someone actually conquers such demons to this extent and becomes successful in anything.

Gregory seems like so many in that he likes to play football, but he doesn't really care to work at it every day like a job.

This is by far the best write up on Gregory I have seen pre-draft. I personally am glad Jerry took the chance I know he is hurting us this year so far with the off the field issues but check out this video and This is why I am so excited for him and and Lawrence to get back! Enjoy I would suggest anyone subscribe to this guy he makes great vids. Let me know what you think

They'll get back but can they stay back... ??? Much like Romo's predicament (no pun intended)...

he will more than likely never see the field in dallas again was another wasted second round pick.

Don't really have high expectations for him anymore...need to see him on the field. He may just be a shell of the player he was coming out of college at this point.

You can tell how it's gone for Gregory in the NFL when the only highlights anyone can find are from his college days. Yeah, real exciting! Those highlights were exciting the day we drafted him, he's been a huge disappointment.

What I'm sincerely hoping for in view of what's happened with Gregory and others is that the FO and staff might learn something from it. Upon seeing the damage that occurs with respect to welcoming players with red flags, the FO and staff should, at long last, finally learn their lesson.

You'd think it wouldn't be asking too much for them to eventually realize that they've been foolhardy in trying to draft and/or acquire valuable players for little or nothing. It quite simply isn't a practical way to manage procuring talent and it never will be. Wasting valuable draft picks and resources on such impractical management should eventually give way to sane reasoning. At least, you'd think so but some things never change.
