That is a big pile of hogwash. Players get tested during OTA's and and then randomly during the season. If the majority of players used weed even for pain mamangement there would be a very large number of suspensions for the use of weed and as we all know there is usually only about 2 to 4 a year. Whether they use it for pain management or not right now it's still a banned substance. Besides any active player that needs something for pain can get it from the team doctors at any time during the year including the off season. You just want it to be the majority of players use weed for whatever reason but that's the furthest from the truth.
Yes whatever is done needs to be done for all not just those that smoke weed but there's not a lot the NFL can do without drastically changing the game and if they do they they may lose fans which will lose sponsors and then network TV deals and then it's lights out for good.
