Randy Gregory Update

Get em, RGregory! Get that arse on the field with your team! Gonna be a fun season watching him and Tank, and later Irving. Another season under Taco's belt. TCraw. Wave of DL is the new thing, we gonna have some wave.

Gregory is gonna explode around game 6-8, me thinks, if he gets to participate in camp/preseason. Especially with Irving coming back week 4 to take some of the pressure off of his fellow linemen, plus the attention Tank will be receiving all season.

I think Gregory finishes with 5-8 sacks, 10-15 tackles for loss, 2ff -- somewhere in there. And most of it coming the second half of the season.

Just love the boy. So happy for him. The sky is the absolute limit. :star::starspin:

The process around drug suspensions is supposed to be confidential. That HIPPA. The public should actually get far less information than we do

Did you just compare HIPPA law to an update on an NFL suspension? The NFL is a blackhole of information. Fans don't deserve the detail but they deserve some sort of timeline.

Is the league office commenting on posts???

Honestly I don't know what to expect from Gregory, in 14 games with the Cowboys he has 1 sack. He has not seen any action since the 2016 season. He has been suspended more games than he has played. I'm sorry for being skeptical on Gregory but he has to show something in pre season and I expect him to earn a job not given the job.

Yes I did because the suspension and any decision about the suspension is based deeply on the medical facts of this case.

The league is obliged to keep this process confidential. They cannot comment on aspects of this.

We should have far less information - the league office tends to leek way too much.

And stop thinking you "deserve" something. That's just some entitled BS right there.

Go back and watch his last game. He will be the right edge rusher as soon as he gets into football shape. He's already in athletic shape.

1 game in the 2016 season. Great but that is very little to go by. Hell if I was going to judge a player on 1 game then Taco is going to be a beast but few here would claim that. Fact is Gregory has a lot to prove. I'm glad he is in shape as you say but he has to go out and earn this, it should not be a given he has not done anything for it to be a given. I don't want to see some young guy out there making plays and ends up getting cut just to ensure Gregory gets a spot. I expect Gregory like every player to go out and earn it.

I have every confidence the NFL will reinstate him ... right before the season starts. That way he gets no time to work himself back into the game, and the team either has to waive him or keep him virtually sight unseen. Disadvantage, Cowboys.
