Pretty pathetic that no player or coach checked him after that terrible selfish penalty.

Snake Lee didn't say anything to him? We probably just missed it on tv and he waited for Randy to turn his back to say something.

He is the shining example of why we are always mired in mediocrity. We hold on to someone who has proven time and time again that they can not be counted u[on to produce on the field. They are immediately give a roster spot and all the snaps they could want. They look skinny and weak and outmatched. They offer nothing then out right hurt the team through stupidity. Second half comes and they are right back out there.

I am finding it very hard to care about this team this year.

Gregory set the tone after that moronic penalty. The vibe of the game was sullen and hopeless after that. It affected the team I think. The referee affected the outcome too..that was not an illegal hit on Wilson by Crawford. That also set the tone and changed the flow of the game. I hate what the refs have done this year to change outcomes of games throughout the league.

It's like we should start a weekly thread and determine which errors are acceptable and which errors are not.

Or even better..we can come here after every game and start calling player rude names like idiot and dumb for any mistakes they make. Then we can scream and cry about how we need to cut them for making a mistake. Then when rational posters come in we can attack them too...

Easy to single out a single player but there were a bunch of dumb plays in that game. Far more concerned about the offense than Gregory being on the team.

This thread is what happens when fans don’t know where to point their anger after a horrible game. We have so many problems on offense and Randy Gregory getting flagged for a personal foul isn’t even top 10 things seriously wrong with our team.

But go ahead and say a bunch of dumb things acting out of emotions. Like Gregory did.

Exactly! Give the guy a break. Did anyone see the play that preceded that little outburst? He was held and then hit hard in the back - that's how significant injuries can occur. Should've been a penalty, but lets not even bring the subject of penalties up. Some dude was trash-talking him right after that play, and Randy simply pushed him away. Unfortunately, it was right in front of an official. Look...I understand a player has to be able to contain his or her (David Akers) emotions, but c'mon, EVERY player gets frustrated. I look at his frustration as being a sign of passion...wanting to get better and have something to show for what he's accomplished in his life.

Yes, I agree he has to learn how to let that stuff go, but think about what the guy has been through and think about the nearly impossible journey he's on. As far as the coaching staff reprimanding him, Garrett called his name twice as he was walking to the sideline, but Randy kept walking and ignored him. Probably the best thing to do in that situation and Garrett needs to understand that. A person with a mental illness will be harder on themselves than ANYBODY else could possibly be. Trust me, I speak from experience.

Gregory has an amazing future in front of him; both on and off the field. Give him a chance to be a human being, learn from his mistakes, and to prove his value - first to himself and then to the NFL. I'm rooting hard for the guy - regardless of what happens with his NFL career.

He preaches the right message-- but then fails to live it out. Players will only tolerate a hypocrite for so long. This franchise has zero accountability from the top down-- and it's undermining the product on the field.

I also think that happens like 20 times a game and doesn't get called. There was a play where Tavon was blocking down the field and the Seahawks corner did the EXACT same thing and got nothing. Zeke got a forearm to the back of the head from Clark and nothing was called. This thread only exists b/c it happened in front of the refs.

He needed to be benched for the rest of the game. Belichek benched one of his best defenders for a SB— and our clown HC can’t bench an idiot player for a half in a game where we are clearly getting whipped.

It is pathetic. The Cowboys haven't had a game day leader since Parcells left. We have been void of solid leadership on the sidelines on game day (player or coach) since 2006.
