Randy Gregory

The NFL is so soft. He shoved a guy's facemask after a play, it's not like he took his helmet off and swung it. In rugby they'd just call that a little argie bargie and the refs would separate everyone and move on. And those guys aren't wearing helmets to protect their faces.
Won't be long and they'll be banning any physical contact whatsoever. It will be virtual reality football.

Any clue about what set him off? I speculated in the moment that the Seahawk player did some weed taunting or something. Unfortunely he likely made himself a target for that sort of on field BS.

Pretty pathetic that no player or coach checked him after that terrible selfish penalty.

Then you didn't watch the game, Garrett was saying something to him as he walked off, look like he said really about 5 times. I bet he also said something in the locker room.

Have to give Garrett credit there. He actually did say something and he did not clap.

Randy is playing and acting like a little baby. I have zero hope for him. 100 bucks says he gets hurt next game and takes another week off.

yup...agree

I think Randy Gregory is finding out professional football is a FT job....and it's actually WORK. You just don't show up on Sundays...play for 3 hours...then expect to get paid millions.

I don't see any love for the game in him. He's just there to collect a few checks...then he'll be off to some Jamaican Island to smoke it all away. It's just a matter of time before he caves in to the hippie lettuce.:(

While there is nothing wrong with getting a little chippy in a game, Gregory has been afforded a lot of patience - he should be on his best behavior while in a game. Even if it's something small.

I'm having a hard time finding it, but there's a clip of JG trying to yell at Randy when he came off the field and Randy just straight ignores him lol

Edit: found it.

And this is why we will lose. There is no accountability for players. I don't care that he got the penalty, emotional stuff happens in an emotional game. What I care about is Garrett tried to talk to him and Gregory blew him off. Then Garrett stopped trying and the game went on. Inexcusable for both Gregory and Garrett. Gregory should respect his head coach enough to go talk to him when he calls him over. Garrett should not say his name once or twice and then give up on it. A real coach would have gotten in RG's face and told him what he was going to tell him when he tried to call him over. Do you think any players don't respond to Belicheck and do you think Belicheck would be okay with the player blowing him off. Nope. That's why we lose. No respect for the coach and no accountability.

BTW, I exaggerated. They wouldn't even call in an argie bargie, a single shove to the face would be classified as niggle. Hell, I saw a 6' 8" Brodie Retallick shove a 5' 10" TJ Peranara in the head harder than that and they freaking play together on the same international team. They were playing for opposite Super Rugby clubs that day and TJ couldn't stop Brodie from scoring, there was talk and a head shove. Then after the game they had a beer in the shed. That kind of stuff happens in physical sports.

All that said, it was really stupid of Gregory to do it because he plays for the NFL and they absolutely won't tolerate that. He has to be smarter.

argie bargie? niggle? LMAO

No comparison. Rugby is a true man's sport. Football is a physical version of table tennis.

Perhaps, but NFL football is a million times more popular and profitable.
Take your false warrior culture of Rugby and stick it in Stonehenge.
