Randy Gregory

If he is below average against the run, what does that make Basham and Armstrong?
Over rated by Cowboy fans? We have a slew of average to below average defensive linemen we fool ourselves into thinking are elite. We get gashed whenever the opposing team needs to run, and we are widely inconsistent pressuring the passer unless Micah gets involved. There isn't one person the DL I'd be really bummed if we let go. Maybe Gallimore. DLaw is ok, but we need the 19M in cap space we could ave by cutting him.

Gregory should be cheap to sign I think.

I don’t know why people think he is gonna get some massive deal.

We’re going to move on from a lot of players because we have to pay #4.
To be fair, the Dak haters' plan to avoid paying market-value for a QB was to let him walk last offseason and trade up to replace him with a bad rookie like Zack Wilson. So not only is our QB and our offense much, much, much worse... but it also costs us the Parsons draft pick, so our defense is much, much, much worse too. Fun!

Be as pissy as you want that sometimes labor is able to get paid what the market will bear. The alternative was absolutely a worse path.

If you think we'd have been better off missing out on Parsons and drafting a bad rookie QB to build around, and you'd have been happier going 5-12 without Dak than going 12-5 with him... well, I don't know what to tell you people.

We're going to move on from Gregory, Cooper, Schultz, Gallup and Wilson because of Dak's contract. And when we lose Dak will blame the refs and encourage fans to throw things at them.

I can't wait to see Dak's numbers when his receivers are Malik Turner, semi feha-what-ever-his-name-is, Lamb and Jarwin.

But it won't be Dak's play or his contract, it's the refs fault. Stand up leader right there.

I said he would give us around the same production as Aldon Smith did.

I was right.

Ya'll gonna have to start listening to me. I don't sugar coat things to make ya'll feel better. It's tough love.
Umm. He was way more disruptive than Alidon smith

I know a lot of you guys really love Randy but his selfish behavior really cost the team. Three bad penalties. He was pretty much a no show and as usual he got abused in the run game. I really hope we can move on from this guy. Easily my least favorite player left on the team.
Yah he's been playing really good but he crapped the bed yesterday.

And Gallimore. Including yesterday's fiasco, he literally cost us two games & knows it! o_O

Gregory turns 30 next season. He had a nice season this year with 6 sacks but I have a feeling another team is going to over-pay him and given his propensity for penalties I'm not in favor of the Cowboys really being very aggressive about re-signing him.

Cowboys have to either resign Gregory or keep DLAW with a 27mil cap hit....I say resign Gregory and let DLAW walk

Many here wanted to extend him earlier in the season after a great game, now most want to move on from him. lol I keep telling everyone to stop living in the moment and wait until the season is done. A player has a great game or two and fans are ready to commit long-term. If it would’ve been up to some of the fans we would’ve been stuck with Aldon Smith and a huge contract after the first 4 games of the 2020 season.

The Cowboys D struggled at times, but overall should have done enough for a #1 offense in the league to win the game.

Funny how a player has a bad game and he's trash. Gregory gives 120% and made plays in a bunch of games. They need more Gregorys, not less.
