Players looked around to see if moss was there. Chilly then took em rt into film like it was no biggie. Guys just shook their heads

Players liked Moss but guys were saying this season, nothing chilly does surprises them.

There might not be a more hated coach by his players than Chilly. I don't think the Cowboys players respect Wade, but I do believe they like him.

No chance in hell.
As the roster stands today. No Chance.
This season is done anyway. Cut Roy and Sign Moss.

Miles. Moss. Dez.

At least it'll keep fans excited and butts in the seats.

Adam Schefter was just on ESPN's NFL Primetime and said their are at least 10 teams including the Cowboys interested in Randy Moss. o_O However he did not go into detail like he did for the other 9 teams.

Jerry might be desperate enough to do it. :lmao2:

Although Chilly said he is waiving Moss, he still has not yet been waived and the player has still not been told directly from coach yet

No thanks, would rather have RW at this stage.

We already have an effort problem as it is, no sense in bringing in another loafer.

I don't want a disgruntled Moss anywhere near Dez.

Moss' agent just came out with a statement about Moss being sad about being released so he's gone for sure!

I can see it now. Jerry gives up next year's 1st, 2nd and 3rd to try to save the 1-6 season.

He still rues the day he picked Ellis over Moss.

He may not loaf if he has Gruden or Cowher coaching him. Those guys are tough... in a canny sort of way. So you can't get past them. They know the psychology of these kinds of players.

Moss has never really played for a tough personality, nor a coach who's a little hard on his players.

Belichick?

But the bottom line is, the guy cant help good teams win anymore. he just doesnt have the same skills, nor does he work hard enough to better himself with what he has left.

We dont need anybody like him.

Agreed. WR is not the problem area on this team.

If they can't block the defense, it doesn't matter who is playing WR.

I disagree Bellicheat is tough on his players. He picks players he doesn't have to be tough on and the ones he does he has a short fuse with. He's not really a player's coach. Hence the sort of revolving door that is the Patriots. However, I tend to agree with your opinion that we don't need a personality like him in our locker room.

I mean, at what point to you realize you have enough WRs and start focusing on the O-line and secondary?

IMO, I like all 3 of our WRs better than Moss.

I don't like his character either. He's no TO, but he still stirs the pot and has obvious ego issues. Yes, he's talented.

But at this point it would be like the Bengals signing him. You can only get the ball to so many stars....
In theory, it's fun to think about. But the chances of it happening from a realistic standpoint are nil. Yet we always have to wonder what our crazy owner is thinking.

From a strictly imaginary point of view. Can you imagine the Cowboys running a run and shoot offense with Miles, RW, Dez and Moss?

Holy!

But, yeah, we really don't need the personality. We're stacked with talent.

The 1-6 record is a coaching issue if you ask me. It has nothing to do with talent.

The Patriots are the smartest franchise in the NFL, hands down...They get rid of older players or cancers in the locker-room and will reload in next years draft with numerous premier picks for numerous superbowl runs once again in the next five to seven years...like or hate him Belichick is briliant

NO DOUBT!! And all ignorant people think the Pats won because of spygate, lol....

I would kill to have Bill and Ernie in Big D, but they would never work for Jerry

There's no way he's coming here. If Moss did not like the coaching fiasco in Minny, then see what happens if he ends up in the mess we call Dallas.

I wish we had the finese of the Patriot's front office/coaching staff. They trade Moss to Minny for a 3rd round pick. Moss gets on the podium during a press conference, wears a BoSox hat, and (for lack of a better word) begs to come back to the Pats. Because that press conference was a plea for the Patriots to take him back. Minnesota decides to cut him . . . from what I read he did not even take the team flight back to Minnesota.

Now watch Moss clear wavers and New England resigns him again. They can pay him minimal dollars because the Vikings will have to pay his contract. So they get to re-add Moss after riping the Vikings off for a 3rd round pick and Moss' salary for 2010.

Why can't we have that kind of savy on our management and coaching staff?

Bill and Ernie run circles around every team in the league, they're freaks of nature and I doubt there are two people like them with their vast knowledge, intelligence and experience among all the football coaches in the world. We'd be lucky to attempt to emulate their philosophy but that stands against everything Jerry represents
