Don't we already look like Detroit? One win and a bunch of good receivers?

I wish we looked like Detroit, they have two wins and play their hearts out and at this point I'd say their arrow is pointing much higher than ours

Looking like this was all Chilly and that the Vikings ownership hasn't approved this move, and they might overrule Chilly and keep Moss ... probably firing Chilly in the process and promoting Frazier.

If it's going to get overrated Leslie Frazier off the list of Cowboys HC candidates, I'm all for the move.

Favre probably got wind of it and told management he'd need a few more million to stay if they cut Randy.

I just hope he doesn't end up in the nfc east.

Who cares? We aren't likely winning an NFC East game this year anyway.... what difference does it make if he ends up in Washington, NY, or Philly?

Washington makes sense to some minor degree.
Philly and New York are good at WR.

Whoever takes him has to pay 6 mil for the rest of the year unless he completely clears all 32 teams via waivers. Then he's up for grabs.
The Raiders are improving...who knows with those guys.
Atlanta has Roddy White, but not much else. They have Super Bowl aspirations, but I'm not sure he is a fit with them.

Who cares if he does? Was he doing anything in New England? NO

Was he doing anything in Minnesota- NO

The guy's D O N E

And he's a huge turd. Honestly I hope he does go to Washington or philly, would love to see him cause some more mayhem in the lockerroom.

Watch out for Randy Moss. He is legit! He is back! The Cowboys are in for serious ruage since Minny traded for him.

I rest my case. :D

Yeah bring him in, why not, who cares at this point... Put Romo on IR to open up a slot.

Start Dez and Roy outside, Moss in the slot, Austin can return punts and kickoffs and fill in for Dez or Roy or Moss.

Frankly at this point, doing *ANYTHING* to make the game even slightly entertaining would be nice... *sigh*

multiple members of the Vikings organization -- the front office and the players -- want Randy Moss back (not that he ever left).

The Shanahan family would like to thank Brad Childress for taking them off the national media griddle today. Gift basket forthcoming.

Even if team talks Chilly out of actually waiving Moss, those close to Moss says no way he returns now w Chilly there, not after this

RE: Moss mess. I have to think Zygi Wilf will rue the day he gave Chilly that contract extension if he doesn't already.

FWIW, being told WR Randy Moss is open to returning to Minnesota. Whether it happens is anyone's guess.

I don't think so. You dont just go from 1200 yards and double-digit touchdowns to D O N E in one off-season. Everyone figured TO was done as well, and look what he's doing in Cincy. Randy Moss is an idiot, but assuming he is finished is just incorrect.

I agree. I think there is a team out there he can help, but it's not the Cowboys. We have so many other issues. It would be asinine to sign him with his market value. He's' "the freak" for a reason. The guy just needs a good coach around him. That's not to say Bellicheat isn't a good coach. I'm just saying the interpersonal communication isn't there with some of the teams he has played for. I think Minnesota has seen Randy once before. I don't know why they waived him... but like you said, it doesn't mean he's finished--not even close.

I saw this one coming, they trade for the guy then use him as a decoy. Every week he was quitting a little bit more. Not making excuses for Moss, he is a punk, but everyone knows he is a punk. If youre going to trade for the guy you should at least throw him the ball every once in a while, no way is he going to keep running all over the place if he isnt involved.

Very interesting that you mention this.

Same thing but different.

Wade has little to no control.

Childress has Favre come in and show him - its Favre's team - no matter how long you have been there, no matter your title Childress.

See the theme?

Good catch DW.
