What about trading for Randy Moss for a 3rd from Oakland, since they said they would take a 3rd round pick for him.

Then trading TO to Green Bay for a 2nd round pick, which would be about the 16th pick in the 2nd round. We could trade that pick down to about the 20th, or so, and pick up an extra 2nd and 3rd. That would give us, a

1st 22nd pick
2nd 20th or so for TO to Green bay, and trading down
2nd our 2nd round pick which would be about the 22nd or so
3rd picked up for trading down from 16th spot
4th our 4th round pick
5th round pick, possibly a 5th rounder this year or next in green bay trade
6th round pick jets pick, we lost our 6th
7th round pick our 7th round pick
7th round pick pats 7th round pick
7th pick, in another trade we made

That would give us 4 picks in the first day, and 6 picks the 2nd day.
The 4 picks would give us good value to get some players that can help us later in the year. If lucky, our first rounder, if someone like Reggie Nelson falls in the draft, or someone like Moss de from florida, or aaron ross cb-saftey from texas, theres not too many great offensive linemen this year, like last year, so i say wait and get that offenisve linemen in 2nd or 3rd round. Get the good player if he falls that can help us this year in first round.

The attitude I can deal w/...I mean half the receivers in the league have an attitude problem. Taking plays off, that bothers me. Still, it's something I would've tolerated in the past because of his immense talent.

The thing is he's 30. I realize that's not terribly old, but our staring receivers are both over thirty. He'll just be taking catches away from Crayton, Hurd and Austin. And having Moss, Owens and Glenn on the same team...someone's going to start complaining about not getting the ball enough.

I think the wisest route would be to draft a receiver high. Give him time to develope so we have someone in place when our starting two calls it quits.

So what!!!!!! Crayton is 28 and who cares about the other UFA's. ITS RANDY MOSS...

There are rumors that the Raiders would trade Moss for the first 3rd round pick thrown there way ..would anyone be willing to do this..
Teamed with T.O. and Glenn would be the best set of 3 WRS possbly of all time..
Or let Owens walk
Or team him and Owens

I understand he makes tons of cash and hasnt been the same with the Raiders but he is a talent..

i probably wouldnt do it .
there is only one ball but it is intriging..

Randy Moss is a punk, always has been... but that's not why I wouldn't accept him on my team, even if he paid me... he QUIT on the Faiders last year, plain and simple, and I don't want no quitters on my team...

Let that dog find somebody else to pay for his Alpo...

Green Bay will pay that price. I won't be shocked at all if Moss is headed there should this be true.

I've read that Favre is lobbying quite hard to make that happen...

And RANDY MOSS has all of 151 catches over the last 3 seasons, covering 42 games... just barely 50 catches a year... he has all of 11 TD catches in his last 29 games, or 6-7 per 16 games played...

This while being the number one receiver on his team, without a talent like Terry Glenn or ol' Eldorado catching their share of passes...

RANDY MOSS ain't all that any more, in fact it could be argued he's just another Patrick Crayton, only with a much worse attitude... I'd say you're WAY too impressed by a name who USED to be good...

No, they don't... after their first round pick, their next pick is in the 5th round... they've even traded away their 4th round pick in the 2008 draft, LOL...

There is a reason Favre wants him.. His big play capability. Hes had hamstring issues the past two years.

Who was throwing him the ball? Tuiasasopo, Andrew Walter, Aaron Brooks, and Kerry Collins. Who was running the offense. Art Shell's bed and breakfast buddy. He might be a punk but so is T.O. Who cares !!

Its about W's, not a fan popularity contest. If he makes your team better , then go for it Jerry. Or you can keep that third and get a Stephen Peterman, Derrick Ross, or Willie Blade.. Yeah get real..

Give me a game breaker, not a bum that wont make the team. You'd be a complete FOOL to not want him on your team. Forgegt your personal inclinations toward the guy. Why would Brett want him now after he mooned Lambeau Field.

Simple

He is a big play threat down the field. Brett wants to win now and he would help. Funny how no one wanted to give a second for Ray Lewis, but now they wizz all over Brady J and curse BP for Fasano.. I should save quotes so I can laugh if he goes to GB and puts up crazy numbers with a QB thats not afraid to put it up.

Talent folks... Simple as that

No, it's not as simple as that-- not when the "talent" is a QUITTER, which Moss is...

Why else would the talent-starved Faiders be so willing to let him get away??

As for those hamstring injuries that you use to excuse his recent past performances, that's the kind of thing that happens to aging WRs... what makes you so sure that trend will not continue??

You can put quitters like Moss on your team, once you own a team, but I can assure you you'll never win jack with that kind playing for you... Randy Moss will never even get a whiff of a Super Bowl, and frankly, he doesn't deserve one...

TO is a head case, but he gives his all on the field... Randy Moss is a head case, and a dog... he plays when he FEELS like it...

You play for the Raiders for a couple of years and see how you turn out. A losing enviorment , breeds a losing mentality. You put Moss on the Patriots and everyone would want him again. He needs a change of scenary anyway.

Your right about T.O .. You can never say he doesnt give it his all. Moss does in his words, plays when he feels like it.

Many of your are saying Moss is a quitter, because he said "i play when i want to play"; that was blown way out of perportion of the media and taken out of context. he doesn't like to block and when they run he doesn't give his 110% thats what he ment

He's a cancer, the kind of player NOT needed in a Cowboys locker room. At least T.O. give a 100% when he's playing despite the drops balls.

Randy Moss is a down the field, deep throw, no route running WR.

Romo is a short to intermediate doctor who plays an accurate game close, but is never going to be a proficient bomb thrower.

Further, while TO might have a mouth, Moss has a Mouth, Legal issues AND is questionable on the field.

Oh yeah - and Glenn > Moss the last few seasons.

Many said that about Terrell too, and if Terrell gave 100% every game every min he was on the field, don't you think his concentration would be higher? thus leading to less drops?
