Rank the teams in the NFCE.

Dallas, NY Giants,Philly, all battle for #1 spot
Washington the spoilers but a solid team.

I would be very surprised to see the Skins win this division.....but I could see any of the others win it. Its the best division in Football.

So tired of reading this.
Chances our season is derailed by OL injuries is no greater than most other teams.
Just because it may be the thinnest weakest group on our team, doesn't mean it's thin or weak when compared to the league as a whole. Or even when compared to the other "contending teams".

I wouldn't trade our OL (starters and reserves) for the skins or eagles.

Cowboys 13 or more wins
Giants 10 or more wins

Eagles 8 wins
Redsucks 6 wins

Sorry you are sick of hearing it, and I didn't say it wouldn't hold up. But the NFC East is brutal on teams that have OL problems. I know this, I have 0-6 as a reminder. You have a qb that can stretch plays, and a strong WR corps, so all that is good, but your OL is thin, and to say it is as good as any other contender is a blind homerism. It may be "good enough", but it's an area that teams will target until it proves it is capable.

At least our O-line is proven average. Whereas the Skins is a proven turnstile.

I'm interested to see if Hostile returns to take this bet with 5-1 odds that he was adamant about earlier!

Cowboys

Giants

Eagles

My son's peewee team

Puppies from the Puppy Bowl

A team comprised out of Larry King Clones

The white dot from the classic handheld Mattel football game

A team of 6th graders with a triangle football made out of paper

Any team from the Lingerie Bowl

The horses from the Budwieser commercials

The red team from my vintage electric football game

Any Chan Gailey coached Cowboys team

A team made up of the toy that you had to hit it's head to kick field goals

The Washington Commanders

1. Boys --- 11-5 --- Romo leads high scoring offense and Ware attacking defense.
2. Giants --- 9-7 --- Bounce back into playoffs but softer OL doesn't create as many running lanes.
3. Skins --- 8-8 --- Mediocre results are vast improvement but not enough to appease unrealistic owner.
4. Eagles --- 7-9 --- Year 1 sans Donovan will be tough. Youth everywhere means future is bright but the right now is quite cloudy.

Whats with all the Giants and Skins love?

Cowboys
Eagles
Giants
Commanders

... just like last year.

I think the Cowboys and Eagles have gotten better. Yes, I think Kolb at this point is better than McNabb. Plus Jackson, Maclin, Celek, and McCoy are another year better. The Giants are pretty bad in my opinion. I don't think McNabb and Shanny help the Commanders by more than +2 wins vs. last year.

The Giants have some actual talent. Their front 4 is in the top 5 units. They have more talent than the Eagles or Washington.

The Commanders added a lot of actual football players. They aren't going to be great but they do have a coach with a proven system and more talent than in recent years. They also have some young talent for the first time in a decade. They also have the guy most motivated to beat Philly. And that head to head match-up likely decides the cellar of the division.

The Eagles have lost too much of the veteran core and don't have much to make up for it with. Westbrook, McNabb, Tra Thomas... thats lot for any team much less a team struggling with it's new defensive coordinator.

You left out their overrated QB, RB, average WR core. And spotty secondary play that is relying heavily on Phillips coming back from a serious injury and Rolle to actually live up to his contract.

It's been said a million times, Shanny is a .500 without Elway. Plus, what makes anyone think they'll that much better at QB than last year? Campbell has a better QB rating than McNabb last year, with less weapons and a worse line. I don't think their line has gotten better by much and McNabb is no longer than scrambler he once was.

Those three were a were on the downside of their careers or barely playing last year due to injury. Everything I've read says the Eagles players and staff like Kolb and are buying into what he says. I think Kolb is going to shock alot of people this year.

Dallas 10-6
NY 10-6
Phil 9-7
Wash 9-7

Our schedule is a killer and the rest of the division is good. Even the Skins will make some noise this year.

no way...it wouldn't surprise me if any 2 of those three others were under 500
I should have said .500 or above. I think the last place team in the NFC East will be 8-8.

That never happens. I'll give you 5 to 1 odds (in manly man currency)
Forgetting that I wasn't clear, see the post above for what I meant to say. As for the never happens comment, see 2008 the NFC East, NFC South, and AFC East. You nearly had 3 divisions finish with all 4 teams at 8-8 or better.

It can happen.

I was adamant about this and spouting odds and offering bets? Show me where.

I'd like to see a link.

1. Dallas
2. Washington
3. New York
4. Philadelphia

All will be above .500.

disagree, NFCE schedules are too tough. Also, don't see Wash winning more than 2 division games if that. They will be better than 4-100, but that isn't saying a lot. I think the NYG defense will be better than last year and although their running game may slip, their passing game is still pretty darned good. I actually think Philly may be better on offense albeit not great on D.
The key is winning that first game at Wash. and Mcnabb may even be out....If we don't win that one....could be trouble.

I see the Commanders at 4-2 in the Division at worst before the playoffs.

Split with the Cowboys, split with the Giants, and sweep the Eagles.

I see the Commanders at 8-8 at worst.

I see the Cowboys 11-5, the Giants 10-6, Eagles 9-7 and Commanders 8-8.

Dallas
Washington
NY
Philly

Yes, I'm serious. Washington will be better than expected. Philthy will take a dive this year. NY gets caught up in too many division losses.
