My outliers are Cam and Sherrod. Cam is a phenomenal athlete and I'd draft him top 10 if I were Buffalo. I think he is a Big Ben type player. Big, agile and accurate enough.

Sherrod is the best OT prospect imho. He is massive with a frame that can actually grow. He has been tested in the SEC and can both pass block and run block impressively as he did against top notch SB talent in the game.

A couple of the guys like Cam, Quinn and Green, I'd never personally draft for Dallas... but my list is overall talent.

Gabbert is in my Top 10 not because I think he's great, but more to fact that QB is a value position. Similiar thoughts about Cam Newton, although I think he has tremendous upside.

this can deff change. workouts and combines can really change everything. for example in Amaukamaura does not run a sub 4.5 I think it will drop him into the late teens.

I think Cam Newton is a top 5 pick in this draft and if he is sitting there at 9 I would not be surprised to see Dallas trade so a team can nab him.

my guess is that dallas top 3 on the board are gone and they can trade it away and still get the player they want that is left

I know you're interested in Peterson if he falls. Would you be pleased if we take Amukamara as well? Or are you as worried about his supposed lack of elite speed?

I'd take him and be very happy. I don't want an OLB at 9. I think OL would be a reach unless Tyron Smith truly is 300 pounds and still shows his ability. If he is I won't bark, but I still think that is a bit of a reach.

CB or DE are really the only right choices at 9. I forgot Cam Jordan in my picks. I want 2 or 3 QBs to be taken too high. It benefits us immensely.

I'm coming around on the Jordan pick, myself. I'd prefer Fairley but that's probably not going to be an option.

Thanks HOS! I'm hoping for Prince myself. Noting how CB's were so important to Rex Ryan last offseason when it appeared they were stacked at the position, I'm thinking Prince or Patrick is the main target especially with the speed questions surrounding Prince for twin bro Rob. I'm very much Looking forward to how Prince runs at the combine.

Fairley will be #1 overall with Luck out of the running.

More than likely..I am going out on a limb and saying he won't go first

Hos, you said in another thread that you would give up Dallas' 2012 first round pick to move up and take Peterson because you think Peterson will be that good and the Cowboys first next year should be later in round 1.

Given a chance to do the same thing for Nick Fairley, would you do it?

Just wondering what your take on that is.

And while I'm at it... what would you think if Dallas traded back some in round 1 and ended up drafting Mark Ingram?

Yeah, I would.

I think CB is a bigger need area than DE, but I don't pass on guys that talented.

I am always a fan of trading down and stockpiling talent. I like Ingram, but I wish it was Trent Richardson instead. That kid I love.

If we lose out on Peterson I hope we do trade down.

Thanks Hos. That's pretty much how I view it.

I guess you can tell from how I'm posting lately that I think Fairley is going to be a real difference maker on the DL. I would do whatever I could to go get him.

I can only imagine all the ways that Rob Ryan would use Fairley and what his attitude injected into our defense could do.

I watched Nick playing against LSU this season and he was in their backfield all day long. I've never seen a DL make that big a difference in a college game... and LSU's offensive line was no slouch. He just blew them up.

If you didn't catch that game, you can see some of the highlights in this link:

The video quality isn't good and they include some plays that show nothing, but you get a good idea of how disruptive Fairley truly is.
