I'd put him in the 12-17 range
Not a real fan, but not a hater either.

I do think Wolff is better than CBS' ranking

Pretty good analysis on a lot of guys if you are interested in how they stack up.

Top picks:Ranking safeties

That is a really well written article. I don't know how accurate it is, but somebody really put some effort into writing it.

IMO, Safety is the most difficult position to scout other than QB. Instincts and mental aptitude are difficult to determine, especially for media/fans/draftniks.

Swearinger or Phillip Thomas are my 2 guys. The value they present between the 2nd or 3rd is superior to any other safety in this draft in my opinion. They are being held back by measurables instead actual on field play.

I'm a big fan of Swearinger.

Great year to be looking for help at safety.

If I hear one more person mention Rambos tackling I'll scream. He's as good a tackler as Ed Reed. That's a fact. Go watch the game we played against them. Ed was getting trucked all game. Who cares? Get the guy down.

If Swearinger were simply evaluated just based on his tape with no attention being paid to size or athletic ability, he’d be even higher if you just listened to his teammates coaches and opponents. He was a leader, a player who played his best when his team needed him and a ball hawk as well. Swearinger was a four-year starter, a defensive captain and the enforcer in Steve Spurrier’s secondary.

Doesn't that sound like exactly what we need???

Why is there such a lack of interest for him from the Cowboys?

Swearinger has very similar measureables to Vaccaro. He is only 1/2" shorter and all of the other measurables are very similar.

Scouting reports always refer to Vaccaro covering the slot, but Swearinger did it also as well as play some CB.

If we get Rambo, Swearinger, duke Williams I'd be in heaven. P Thomas, Reid I'll be happy. Anyone else, no.

Pretty solid list, I think McDonald belongs in the top 15 safety prospects. Not having him in the top 30 sounds sketchy to me. I wonder if TJ used to bully the author or something.

I like his breakdown and analysis. My big issue is his comparisons for players just seems way off.

Bacarri Rambo=Yeremiah Bell? Seriously? Literally one of the last people I'd compare him to.
