Anyone who says otherwise are clear trolls.

West coast in Philly is a joke.. 90% of the time Wentz throws either a slant or checkdown to his first read.. mix in the ocassional PA deep ball. It's a joke that people can even compare the two. Wentz sucks

So much wrong with the article, but the most absurd part may be the very end with the "Worst throw of the week." I saw several worse passes from Dak this week (and every week this season), and I know throughout the league there were many that were far far worse. I don't think this guy has a clue about what he's talking about.

So what were the throws?

Do you watch Wentz every week? Many of us do. We see him over throw deep passes, screens, slants — all ranges of the field. We also see him with a great D, Agholor wants to catch all of a sudden, and a great OL. Now that he has weapons, he’s great. Last year, when Dak had an O with surrounding weapons, it was his teammates and not him. Which is it?

Kevinitis, it’s okay to embrace Dak.

Not saying Dak isn't good, the first half in the last 2 games he made a lot of plays. He is still having issues though, and seems to have at least 2 interceptions dropped each week. But the things this guy hypes up on Dak are pretty much the areas where I see problems (this is my main issue with the article). His mechanics appear to be worse, or less consistent this year, not better. I haven't watched a ton of the Eagles/Rams games, but I've seen a decent amount. Both have made a lot of good plays, and passes with anticipation, which is still something I don't see much of with Dak. Wentz has made more poor plays in the time I've watched than Goff has.

As far as the worst pass of the week thing, the one he chose was not a "pretty" pass by any stretch, but Weeden throws a "pretty" pass, and that one still got to the hands of the receiver. With all the wildly off the mark passes and those that were intercepted this weekend, it's just absurd to say that was the worst pass. One that Dak had that was worse was intended for Dez and Dez had to break it up to prevent an easy interception. Sure it was a tighter spiral and had more zip, but it was a worse pass.

Yeah that's not even remotely true.

Look, I get thinking Dak is better but there's no reason to go full blown silly on saying Wentz sucks, can't read defenses, only throws quick checkdowns, etc.

The fade to the endzone? I don’t think that’s an INT

Wentz is a good one, no doubt.

But daggumit, we hate him!

And I don’t think he’s better than Dak (which you addressed in the post I’m replying to, admittedly).

No, I believe it was in the first half around mid-field.

Edit: Okay, maybe 3rd quarter. I think it was this one:

1st and 10 at DAL 42
(9:16 - 3rd) D.Prescott pass incomplete deep left to D.Bryant (J.Hawkins).

Oh yes, Dez was a DB on that pass.

Still, we can’t crown Wentz this year when he has a supporting cast and Dak’s has regressed, while scrutinizing Dak last season for having his (supporting cast), Kevin.

I think it's way too early to crown anyone at this point.

Fair enough. As long as you’re being fair, brother.

Still, you’re not encouraged by Dak’s second season? Doing almost as much with less?

Some good, some bad. Too many passes hitting the hands of defenders. We've been very lucky there. Too many wildly inaccurate passes. Still needs to have more pocket presence.

He's also made some great plays with his legs and escaping sacks and making plays down field. Our offense can't rely on this though.
