Ranking the NFC East Defenses

I've always been a Mario Edwards fan. He had a nice career with the Dallas Cowboys [not bad for a 6th round draft pick.]

Although he is now out of football, he was a solid player for us.

Comparing both players during their time here at Dallas:

Edwards -

Games Started 47
INT 4
TD 2
Tackles 137

Henry -

Games Started 26
INT 5
TD 1
Tackles 112

Henry has more Career INT's [10 during his rookie season at Cleveland,] but his Cowboy numbers are comparable to Edwards.

Edwards played 21 more games! Man, you are really intellectually challanged!

Why do you like to get beat up like this?

 (Also, if I remember correctly, you are a HUGE Quincy Carter supporter, right)? That says it all right there...

Pass interference. Blown coverage. Long TD beats. I mean, the Mo Edwards video archive wouldn't be complete without the volumes he provided us.

Cornerback, or defensive back in general, is not like an offensive skill position. Statistics provide almost no insight as to how a DB has performed. They're typically graded out, much like an offensive lineman would be.

More times than not, it's the plays not allowed which distinguish the good DB.

Well, I gave you an out. You want to keep firing then we will keep firing. Edwards has 21 extra games on Henry in Dallas. I think in that 21 games he can make 25 tackles pretty easily. In 21 games my money would be on him to increase his lead in INTs and equal him in TDs scored here.

Say, how many Pass Interference penalties did Mario rack up here in those 4 years? I seem to remember that he got flagged an awful lot and of course, he got beat too.

Bottom line your 1 little INT clip is useless. Henry is the far better player than Edwards and if you don't realize it then that is absolutely sad.

21 less games and still having better stats is comparable?

These are the next stats this guy will pull out of his butt...

Anthony Henry in the Dec 3, 2006 game against the Giants: 3 tackles, 1 assist and 1 pass defended

Mario Edwards in the game against the Giants where that video clip came from, he had 2 tackles, 1 pass defended and 1 INT for 71 yards and a TD.

Both road games against the same team and Edwards had the better game. Therefore he is the better CB.

Keep digging the hole, you continue to make yourself look like an even bigger :mule: with each word you type.

Face the fact that you don't know what you're talking about and move on!

He is not smart enough to do that.

Worst thing is the guy never learns.

I find it hard to believe that ANYONE could possibly be as dense as this guy comes across...possible, but not likely. I'd put my money on him just being an arse...he thinks he's clever. He's not.
