When even some of the players (like Aikman) make remarks that the fans are mainly there to be seen, you know something very important is lacking.

I routinely see this sentiment, which is strange to me.

Judging by your sign in, I'm guessing you go to a lot of games-- probably more than me. I only make about 2 or so a year.

But I've been to regular season games that were plenty loud. Granted, I don't go to out of town games, except college, so my barometer is a little off.

Been to every game at the stadium, with the exception of one, it's bad.

Yeah it doesn't matter if it's AT&T or Texas stadium, our fans (at the stadium) are weak. I have several memories of standing up and screaming on defense, 3rd down we need the ball back get off your tails and make some noise. Although I had the absolute pleasure of watching Emmitt break the record and the entire stadium seemed to roar for 20 minutes straight. I was proud of our fans on that day lol.

I disagree... I saw Seattle vs. SF before Seattle became a force, the stadium was deafening... Same for Buffalo and KC.

Have to agree on Buffalo. I was at the Monday Night game when Nick Folk kicked the game winner (twice) and it was one of the most incredible atmospheres I've ever been in. Also was afraid for my life walking to through the parking lot afterwards. A cop asked us to take our gear off - we did.

Those people are crazy but when you live in that weather it's understandable.

Out of town fans see Dallas and the stadium as a great once a year trip and invade in large numbers, sometimes you can't tell what team is at home.
Half as many visiting teams fans make more noise than all the Cowboys fans. Large numbers of visiting teams fans in our stadium is embarrassing.

Good teams win at home regardless of the stadium or fans
playoff teams will most always be 6-0,5-1, or 4-2 at home.

Its not the stadium, its the fan base if you want to call them fans, that buy the tickets, show up to take selfies, drink wine, and talk to their friends during plays.
Until you actually go to a home game and experience this problem first hand, you cant even begin to understand where Im coming from.
Now there are your hardcore fans, but they get side swiped by all the yupies staring at their cell phones.

Well I took my family to a game last season, drove up from Austin, and lets just say that it is not cheap....

$85 for parking
$8 for Coke
$12 for "dome dogs" hot dogs
$29 for T-shirts in the gift shop

Times that out for a family of 4 and you can do the math..........that is not even counting what we paid for tickets and for a hotel room.

Maye the reason all you see is yuppies staring at their cell phones is because those are the only people that can afford to go to games on a regular basis. Like I said, its not cheap going to a Cowboys game.

And the cherry on top..............Garrett added yet another loss to his coaching resume............the Cowboys lost the dam game.

Yes sir,
Flew into DFW for the week 4 game vs the Falcons, probably could have spent just as much on a weekend in Mexico at a fancy resort.
Unfortunately, the hard core, blue collar fans are getting priced out.
I honestly would rather just stay home and enjoy the game in my own environment,, the beer in my fridge is a lot cheaper.

That's just the NFL though, the only stadium I've been to that had reasonable parking was Green Bay, and that was because we parked in someone's yard for $20. Aside from that, everything was similarly priced.

I don't take my whole family. My wife tolerates the Cowboys but it's hard for her because I become a real a@@ clown when we lose, and we lose alot.

I take my son, parking is $15-20 but we walk a quarter mile. We eat before the game and I'll buy us each a drink. Then we drive home 3 hours. Here's the most important thing I do: pick a game against a sorry opponet. Yes that sux but earlier in the season it's still exciting and you get to watch a WIN.

It's sad that I have to do all this but it's gets us there once a year.

Dallas should be dead last, considering how good the team was in '14 and still only managed .500.
