Rap reporting Boys trying too make a splash 2nd round for D help

Kony Ealy.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says to "watch the Cowboys on Kony Ealy" in the middle of the second round.
According to Rapsheet, the Cowboys are looking to make a "big move up" on Friday. Dallas' interest in Ealy has been pretty well known since early in the pre-draft process. Rotoworld's Evan Silva has Ealy going 47th overall to the Cowboys in his second-day mock draft, though there are obviously no guarantees Ealy will last that long. Leading up to Thursday night's first round, the Union-Tribune San Diego expected Ealy to be in play for the Chargers at No. 25 overall. May 9 - 2:52 PM

I am more of the mindset keep our 2nd and try get another 2nd and try and get 2 of the better DL left in the 2nd, Ealy, Hageman, Jernigan, Tuitt, and the other ND DL. I would try and get two from this group.

well, i hope we don't give up a 4th or 5th cause w/o a 6th, it's going to be a LOOOOONG saturday.

but i see the need to do what it takes to get the best impact player we can today.

Broaddus said they are after Lawrence and he thinks it will cost a 3rd to the Raiders. If they do I hope he's wrong and it's only the 4th

If the Raiders like Carr as much as has been put out there doubt they'd want to drop.

I Read somewhere that Dallas would trade future pick to gain another pick. Could Dallas trade next year's first or second to get another 2nd and get both Hageman/Jernigan at DT then draft Ealy with the other?

Vikings only had to move a 4th rounder to jump eight spots to #32. If we part with a 3rd, I won't be happy.
Agree. No way it takes a 3rd. That would have gotten us from 47 into the late 1st round.
I think to move way up 10-12 spots it's going to take a 4th and maybe a 5th. That's probably the max. So hopefully it's less.
Prefer none at all

I'm not able to watch tonight, but if I'm not here tomorrow it's because the Cowboys decided to trade a 1st round and I decided to just jump.

Hope they stay put. I don't see a player that moves the needle on our defense individually whereas collectively, we could strengthen the unit if we choose well across our picks.
