We ACTUALLY agree on that, hence the reason why players seem to not care or it makes you feel that way. Have you ever seen a team lose a game, and there's guys on the sidelines smiling and laughing, and all of us POOR fans are left with is anger??

Having to reset and remind yourself of the basics, isnt as bad as some of you trying to make it seem... even for professionals.

I don’t think it’s because the players don’t care. It’s more of a combination of not being able to practice much in pads anymore and the art of tackling being much more difficult with all the rules changes over the years. The way most of us who played football as a kid were taught to tackle would get you flagged for a personal foul today.

In the end, I think the way football is played today is so very different than it was 20 years ago, the “fundamentals” are not as clear as they used to be. Tackling is not worked on enough today. Even though the rules have changed in how you can tackle, the teams who tackle well usually win games.

Not really that's sometimes what practices are for it's a gentle reminder of crazy things that go on you maybe have to get better at I mean the Eagles after our game literally went back trying to go through fumble drills I mean do professionals have to do that no but they do it because it was obvious issue all in one game..... By the way I think it's all an overreaction by the coaches the players look I see it for what it is they were on the road after a long stretch of winning a bunch of games especially two hard games in a row with the Seahawks and then the Eagles and then a whole bunch of dudes got sick injured more injuries the penalties all being on the road in weather I guess a team who has their back against the wall and we got our butts kicked there is no mystery to why we lost that game we don't need to go back to the basics but if that's what they're doing to make themselves more focused and that's fine...

People saying this is the blueprint it can't be a blueprint because show me a scenario when all those things are gonna go the same exact way they don't that's why it's a week to week league that game 8 minutes in everything snowballed and it looked from there it was probably a lost game...

All the time... as fans we hold each game way more closely than teams... we have our rivalry with other fans... ticket cost to attend games, even cost to watch the games regardless of the platform...

Teams know they will have set backs and one blowout win or even 2 don't change the course... I'd must rather have smiling on the sidelines versus what is happening in Philly! We forget the Dez and TO show on the sidelines after a lost... or demanding trades and other toxic stuff...

I BET they didn't work on bone head penalties!!!! Been an issue for years, also you can't go in the lab and create a bigger DT or bigger LB's to stop the run!!!

My view is different. McCarthy is used to coaching in Green Bay, where they get away with things the Cowboys get flagged for.
