The guy had relationships in Philly, he took a meeting with Dallas to drive up his price. Besides if Dallas was serious about upgrading their linebacker corp, they should have done it in the offseason by signing Bobby Wager instead they decided to extend LVE with a history of injuries.
He has no price. Indy is paying his contract. They offered him the minimum because anything over it cuts into what Indy has to pay.

We are going into the hardest part of our schedule with Marqueese Bell and Damone Clarke as our only linebackers smh

They better make it a priority to sign/draft a high caliber one this offseason.
Can't a LB on another non-playoff team whose contract expires at the end of this 2023 regular season be able to sign with us for the playoffs? Or is that against the rules?

This….but it doesn’t matter how many times it gets said people don’t get that this wasn’t about $ or a bidding war

It's against the rules. No player is a free agent until the new league year starts a few weeks after the Super Bowl.

Too bad. He is no longer all pro but he is average and we could use another average LB. So could the Eagles but he is not going to help them this week.

Actually please trot him out this week.
