With no other top safeties on the board and a few wide receivers, offensive tackles and linebackers still available with the second 3rd round pick, I say the Cowboys go Rashad Johnson with their first pick at 69.

I wanted him of all the safeties available. I think Delmas is the same as Hamlin. We need a ballhawk.

Exactly. I don't understand that either.

We've all seen many, many mock drafts done by posters on this forum with Sidbury, Gilbert, or Johnson as our top pick in the 2nd round. Many didn't even think we had a shot at M Johnson.

And we've got an extra 4th, to boot.

The surprise for me is the pass rusher may be there. I didn't do a single mock where MJ or Sidbury were around at 69.

Put me down for pass rusher at 69 and Rashad Johnson a few picks later.

We pull that off and I am happy as a friggin lark.

Because I have done mocks where I gave us one of those pass rushers and Rashad with 51,69.
