They have more corners inactive on game day than any other position, so my guess is one of them gets waived to make room for Evans. Igbinoghene, maybe? Did I even spell that right? I assume they'll keep Scott since he was a draft pick.

Evans is a hard nosed LB and is the best LB on our team. He's that good. Has had some injury issues in the past, but he is a stud. Extremely excellent pickup, a real difference maker.

He may end up like that LB for the raiders who finally found his home and is a big contributor.

He is what we are lacking at the position a good tackle box LB. We have decent to good (Bell) sideline to sideline guys. But no one you want in the mud. Evans is that guy

I was baffled nobody gave him a contract this past off season. He’s actually better than LVE , but having had no camp , he’s at a disadvantage coming in cold off his couch.

Send Nashon Wright back to the practice squad. He continues to prove he doesn’t belong in the NFL.

I think the player we traded KJ for is more likely. Wright is contributing on special teams. I think Igby has been inactive every game since Wright returned from IR.

He did sign with the Eagles, but seems he didn't think it was a good fit. I remember reading he asked for his release... great for us!

All things considered, namely the fact that he was acquired for essentially nothing half way through the season, I'd say he's been a bright spot. He'll probably start to rack up snaps as we progress here through the end of the season.

They'll have to sign him to the active roster this week, will be interesting to see who they cut to make that happen. I doubt they'll want to expose a young player to waivers at this point in the season when some of the teams with poor records are already thinking about next year and are more likely to claim someone, so I'd guess it'll be a vested veteran (like Edoga or maybe Sieg) who they can put on the practice squad for 3 weeks and elevate him without a team having the right to make a claim.

Situational we are deeper now with Evans, probably the best street FA LB available considering the options midseason that we could have made.
Evans replacing LVE was about as close as we could get, with slight upside hopefully as the season progresses.

The Cowboys have some good teams with good running games that are going to show up on the calendar. He's needed to project positional strength, here and now.

With LVE going to IR, it's a done deal now, Evans entering his fourth game vs the Panthers already.
Role due an increase in snaps unless he totally goes belly up.
Let's see what the old bruiser still has in store is the order of business currently.

We have crazy speed at LB already, we needed some size and strength added, we have that now with Evans, how that translates is anybody's guess.
