RoMc? Man If only he didn't have mental problems he would've been a dominant MLB for a long time!
Dude……LOVED that 2014 squad and year….thought we had a good chance to win it all (Seattle was in SB, we proved we could beat them, in their house)……RoMac was a stud for us that year. Shame he couldn’t keep it together, I thought him plus Lee would give us a dope LB core, the next year, didn’t last. Our dline needed better players though, kinda blah (secondary too).

so did jalen smith but they were not impactful.... he looks slow to react....
This is a depth consideration and gives impact to be used as a need addition as well...I'm really not concerned over an All Pro consideration. That is already at the position.

We needed size at LB depth.
Evans may pay off in a few weeks,,,
Clarke is playing fast ball and becoming an all-pro right with Bland.
Evans is like adding an additional wall at the GL and short yardage situations.
It's a great signing, trust me.

Don't care where Clark ranks just yet, just talking about how he is finding his place and role in this defense.
Stats are a great view, but if you want to look at the stats take a look at how Clark's stats mimic his involvement.
Clark is young and just finding his role, his chemistry is evolving.

i'm not really ranking the guy , my eyes have seen that he looks a little slow to react a bit late to the ball at times... you remember the same things being said about Jalen smith?? he built up a lot of stats but nothing really impactful. Now big wow plays. maybe hes getting better. Anyone want to go gives us his highlight real or hodgepodge of plays this year?

i can tell you this right now our first round pick might be another good linebacker. maybe bit different than MP but a bigger downhill type with skills. at least it has to be on their radar imho

The Cowboys have lived with a player like Evans as backup for the past four seasons. No system fall off at all with this role by him.

Improves rotation and overall effect by this very positional group. Integration and no fall off is path followed now...

Clark has been a disappointment. Thought he would make a big jump in year two

Nobody knows where next years 1st goes.
Will be the big mystery, but not worried about next years draft just yet, we got players breaking out like Bland and Clark.

We have crazy speed at LB already, we needed some size and strength added, we have that now with Evans, how that translates is anybody's guess.
His snaps will be limited to avoid him getting forced into coverage but he’s a tackling machine. 159 tackles and he can cover some, he’s just not fast but not a major liability in coverage either.

like i said i could be wrong... it's just when i have noticed 33 he doesn't look like he's doing much but maybe others have watched him more closely and i'm going to have to start...

Having a strong, run-stopping LB in the middle can only help. The season has 1/2 remaining. Evans' size and tackling ability will most definitely pay dividends in the weeks ahead.

Excellent point. It looks like Quinn is mixing n matching his personnel to the situation creating favorable circumstances for the players skill set, especially at LB but DL too.

Evan's value will show up more the further we go, but my hope is that his style of play and demeanor rubs off onto Clark, so he can play with a bit more grit because Evan's is bringing his pads to the party.
