Sherlock Holmes 9/10 - Really enjoyed this movie, was much better then I thought it was going to be.

I surprisingly liked this one as well. :)

We just saw The Book of Eli as well today and I would give it an 8/10. Much better than expected.

Up in the Air -- 7/10

Not bad. Not as good as the reviews either.

Couldn't figure out if I should envy or pity him.

Book of Eli - 7/10

I liked it, but there were several things that weren't explained. I also almost felt like they took out chunks of the movie where Eli would have been teaching Solara or something. Maybe they felt it made the movie too preachy or too long.

Just saw the Blindside this weekend, finally. Great, movie. Thought Sandra Bullock looked great.

Anyway, loved it and will buy it on blueray when it comes out.

Happy-go-lucky- I have no idea I watched this, maybe becuase it was a british movie and I love to make fun of them. But it was pretty good...7/10

Yes Man...9/10

Saw it recently and thought that the stage is set for sequels. Good chemistry with Jude Law and Robert Downey. I look forward to the next one.

Book of Eli 9/10. Really enjoyed this movie, well i enjoy pretty much any Denzel Washington movie, the only thing that was kind of annoying to me was that Solara is supposed to be like the new Eli? lame.

Its not for everyone.

They advertise it like its a Brad Pitt war movie, when hes really not the main character or best performcnce.

You might be giving away part of the story there but yeah that's the thing, she was completely unprepared to face the world because he didn't teach her a thing the entire time she was with him.

Also, I like Mila but she was pretty terrible in the movie. She was supposed to have been born into a post apocalyptic world but it didn't seem to have effected her at all. She and her mother were the most beautiful women left in the world apparently, cause all the other women they showed looked like hell.

Really?? wow.

I couldn't stop laughing at Brad Pitt's character. I was on the edge of my seat at the opening chapter. I'll admit it did get a little slow with the German sniper hitting on Shoshanna stuff.

I definitely wanted more of the Basterds in the movie. It seemed like each chapter with them was consistently great.

While I wouldn't give it a 2 I will say I was disappointed after all the hype.

Too much talking and not enough action from the basterds.

Also District 9...another disappointing movie compared to the hype.

I liked it but expected more.

It's Complicated -- 7/10.

My wife dragged me to it, but it wasn't bad at all. It had some funny moments. Well done.

I went in expecting a typical Quentin Tarantino movie (over the top, overdramatic, engaging yet intentionally overplayed dialogue and dark humor). It fully delivered. Never saw a single commercial for it though, so maybe that is why I wasn't disappointed in how often Brad Pitt's character was on the screen.

I agree. I thought Pitt was funny as hell.

Loved the movie. It'll be my next bluray purchase.

Have you ever seen a Quentin Tarantino movie? He's notorious for mixing short periods of extreme violence in with long periods of slow dialogue.
