yes, it is an extra cheesy movie about a fecal humanoid creature that vertically attacks it's victims up through the toilet, being created thru the R&D dept. of the evil DUTECK CORPORATION, utilizing the towns sewer system as their laboratory, dumping their brewed up concoctions down the storm drains,,,er,,,and an escaped dangerous convict is chased into the sewer system,,, well, when those two "hooked up" together, this story really ' cuts loose' in an truely forgettable mudslide manner, as once the authorities are 'dragged down' into the situation, they devised the plan to use the towns annual chilli cook-off in
( & I'm still a little unsure exactly, as constantly dog paddling thru the sea of cheese this flicks foundation is set upon, made it hard to remain of a riveted viewing focus) taking this walking monster killer turd out, once& for all.

MELON FEUDIAN rating fer' repeat viewing 2 /10,,, and/or,,,11/10,,, ,depending upon ones current level of intoxicationo_O

Sounds like this movie is utter crap.

I have to admit, I did Google the movie and found a review that begin, "I rented this movie from Blockbuster....". I stopped reading at that point.

Saw Happy Death Day 2. Very interesting how the first one is a horror and this one is more Sci-Fi ish in order to create more sequels for other characters. I will give it an 8 out of 10. Kind of slow if you were expecting a slasher type film but it is better than the original when it comes to learning about characters and plot.

You could tell What Men Want is just another female reboot, but this time it was the 2000 Mel Gibson movie, What Women Want, which was just okay. I'm guessing this was a movie geared completely toward a female audience.
I remember Chappelle made a skit about what men want on his show stating before the skit that it can't be done because it would be too gross. Gibson's movie was toward a different type of audience. That audience just wanted to watch Mel Gibson in a romantic comedy. This one is geared toward a female audience but also an audience that wants to watch an R rated movie.

I don't consider the first a horror at all. I see it as a comedy/murder mystery. The whole slasher thing pretty much disappears once the groundhog day premise is firmly established.

Well I guess people would consider it a horror due to the first 30 minutes of the movie. Then it became a comedy when she was trying to find the killer and then the mystery when she think she got it figured out.

A few I saw at home this past week:

The Grinch - I really have no idea why they bothered. Kids are easy money I guess. Nothing new here. Not funny. Not interesting. Just there.

Boy Erased - It was okay I guess. Kind of just plateaued through the entire thing. Seemed like it wasn't sure if it wanted to focus on the relationship with the dad or the "therapy" and didn't really work them together all that great. Very solid performances, though.

The Hate U Give - Just absolute garbage (technical aspects were okay). I'll just leave it at that.

How to Train Your Dragon - The Hidden World: This was...okay. Entirely predictable and the trailers/tv spots give away the entire thing. The villain is just a variation of the guy from the 2nd and never came across as very much of a real threat. There seems to be some backstory missing with the light fury. And, the story is just very basic and it all ends up feeling like it should have been a short epilogue to cap the series off.

Still, the humor is solid and pacing never too slow. It's better than the second, but the 1st is still heads and shoulders above the sequels (and most animated films).

Teen Titans Go to the Movies!: I don't watch the show, so I don't know if there are any inside jokes I missed out on. It was humorous, but not hilarious. Goofy, short, and mildly entertaining. Easily worth a shot, especially since it is so short, but for me it's pretty forgettable.

Ok, so I start thinking 'maybe it's me, maybe I missed it', so I go back and watch Black Panther again and I still don't get it. It was just OK to me, Infinity Wars was a hell of a lot better in that genre.

The best part of Black Panther to me was killing off Andy Serkis and his over-acting early enough because I'd already had enough and I like him.

I'm watching Won't You Be My Neighbor on HBO, and it's not a movie, but a documentary about Mr. Rogers. It's absolutely fascinating. 9 out of 10, and I don't usually care for documentaries.

Well, well, well. no sooner are we raking the poor ashes of Gerard Butler over the coals than I watch "Hunter Killer" and I gotta say really liked it, 8/10. There are times I could not help myself, I was not breathing, that run silent run deep thing lives again. I am an action film kinda guy and I recommend this one, a good ride. Ole Gerard baby was in fine form.
