I heard that too, it was sad to hear she had recently passed away. Movie star level stardom, time constraints to make the sequels, etc. that would've definitely changed the dynamic of their relationship. Kudos to them. He did it his own way (great acting and GREAT roles) Joey Boy is right though in that all of his recent flix seem to be action oriented (Taken 1/2). It would've been difficult to see him as Oskar Schindler:confused:

He would have been better than Peirce Brosman (sp?) IMO.

Oh no, talent wise he would've been great. I just meant his "Bond fame" would've made it unlikely that he would be depicted or even casted in such roles. Peirce Brosnan is too soft (for any role :p)

Nah, he was perfect in Mrs. Doubtfire.

Frozen Ground gets a 9 starring Nicholas Cage & John Cusak -
Alaska Mass Murder

Good movie IMO. I'd watch it again.

47 Ronin

Pretty solid film. 7/10

Edge of Tomorrow

Loved it. 8.5 / 10

Rob Roy...been a long time since I watched it and I still like the movie. Tim Roth does such a great job of playing the bad guy.

Dead Season...low budget zombie movie...I love them but I could not get through this one. Just wasn't working for me.

I agree on Rob Roy. Best sword fight scene in any movie at the end. Jessica Lange was marvoulous. She always seems to be in a movie where it gets rough. Her and Tim Roth, her and Jack Nicolson in The Postman rings twice, Cape Fear wtih Dinero- Heck I think even King Kong had his way with her back in the 70s.

Edge of Tomorrow 8.5/10. Solid action and special effects. Good plot.

Not much of a plot concerning the Aliens and why they were attacking Earth. The Aliens were generic looking squids. And the ending of the movie wasn't good, at least to me. Cruise though was excellent.

Edge of Tomorrow......ok. Rob Roy is one of my favorites. Saw the X Men, too. Interesting. Edge of Tomorrow was Ground Hog Day on steroids in the Sci Fi venue. Cruise is finally starting to look old....not as old as Daniel Craig but getting there. He made me feel younger. Thank God for small miracles.

Have you ever seen American Horror Story? She's great in that series.

Non-Stop. Pretty bad. Liam Neeson has devolved into a living cartoon. 5/10

I agree. I rated this movie on the last page. Pretty lame. And Liam Neeson was on the verge of being one of the next great actors. Instead he decided to go the Steven Segal route.

He should have stopped after "Taken" or at least just done the "Narnia" flicks. This time period coincides with his wife's death, could have something to do with it............more work just to keep busy.

Yeah, some actors are allowed one over the top extravaganza, like Taken. He should have just called it quits and started taking more serious roles after that one.

The aliens reminded me of the mechanized monsters attacking the ships in one of the Matrix films

Bad Manners/Growing Pains.

Early to mid 80's low budget comedy that I don't recall ever seeing or hearing about back in the day which is odd since I watched so many of the cheesy 80's comedies.

Maybe if I had watched it back at that time and watched again recently I would have liked it a bit more. But it was pretty crappy.

Gotcha is always a classic for cheesy 80's flick viewing.
