Rational heads must prevail

Everyone is looking at this with a rational head.

You can sit back and hope that everything changes next week and that this was just a bad dream - but it won't, and it wasn't.

You're looking at the same team you watched last year.

- Bledsoe making boneheaded throws? CHECK

- Field Goal Kickers blowing kicks for us? CHECK

- Zimmer's defense failing when the team needs it the most? CHECK

- Bill Parcells calling plays like it's 1970? CHECK

Drew Bledsoe is awful and the fact that anyone still tries to dispute that is beyond me. New England saw it and got rid of him - Buffalo saw it and got rid of him.

Unfortunately, Parcells has placed all the hopes for this team into Drew, and we're going to reap the benefits of it; an 8-8 season.

Defense? Since when is 24 points the new 34?

24 is plenty when your offense can only score 17 . . .

We could not stop them. They had too many 3rd down conversions. Leftwhich had too much time to throw. The receivers caught almost everything thrown to them. And Fred Taylor made too many people miss.

If you watched that game and walked away feeling good about our defense, you've got low standards.

T.O. is on right now. . . his assessment is spot on. We left a bunch of opportunities on the field. . .
