Hamstring injuries during a conditioning test usually suggests they're out of shape.

Would make sense because IIRC Ratliff and Mack both had nagging injuries this off-season, probably limited what they did conditioning wise.

Here we go again. Livings and Bern hurt again. Time to cut our loses and move on from those two bums

Even though I doubted Ratliff would make it through camp without an injury, I didn't expect him to injure himself taking a conditioning test. It was a bad move re-signing and restructuring Ratliff. At least it happened early, and the Cowboys can get a head start on his replacement. Hopefully, the Cowboys will come to the realization that this is Ratliff's last year and he probably won't produce much this year. More penalties than sacks is about all one can realistically expect from Ratliff at this stage. Time to move on.

Are you telling me our 32 year old undersized nose tackle who missed all last year due to injuries might be an injury risk?

Who could have seen this coming?

Mack had a shoulder injury. Thats nothing to stop him from putting hours in on a stationary bike and doing work in a swimming pool with the use of a float to do leg work and cardio work

Why would Bernie care if he's in shape or not? They restructured him this off-season so he's already guaranteed to get paid all his money for this season whether he plays a down of football or not.

Well it's not going to happen before the end of the 2013 season.

No one would blink if they cut Cook.

If Garrett really wanted to send a message he would hand Ratliff his walking papers. Cutting someone like that would get the attention of the locker room.

And make a mess out of our cap.

Like Sport said...queue the Floyd guys.
I will say, you cannot have it all in the draft...but

Those of us really wanting either Sharriff Floyd (run to the podium) in the 1st round, John Hankins in the 2nd, John Jenkins (prob too big) or maybe Jordan Hill in the 3rd are really groaning right now.

When was the last time Livings and Bernadeau participated in anything?

Call me skeptical.

Same guys somehow not able to practice again. I'm more inclined to believe that they're milking the situation for all it's worth and don't really want to practice.
