Call me skeptical.

Same guys somehow not able to practice again. I'm more inclined to believe that they're milking the situation for all it's worth and don't really want to practice.

I think this too.

That is so far from the truth that it's ridiculous. Maybe towards the end of camp, but not on day 1. Jeez, give em some credit.

You don't know if it's far from the truth or not. You hope it is but that's about it.

I'll play the odds on this one and give Ratliff the benefit of doubt. Being a the glass is half full type is better than the glass is half empty type.

The glass is always completely full. Sometimes it has more liquid than air, sometimes all air.

I really am not worried about training camp with Ratliff. we need him for sundays and that all. this will be his last year on this team and he probably knows that too.

I m glad its not the knee or grion again, Im glad were not in a 3-4 anymore becuz we were at his mercy last year

I'm not surprised at the volume of pessimism here but it is disheartening to hear.

Don't think anything of it.

Some were born to be not realistic, but pessimistic.

Two hamstring pulls and a pudgy Romo shouldn't destroy the season on July 21st.

Alot of vets hate the first part of camp, kind of a been there done that mentality. For those type players, once mid August rolls around they start getting serious about the season. Often times its guys who know they have the front office over a barrel, they can't be cut due to the cap, and they can't be replaced due to lack of depth. I have seen many of those guys in the past as a Skins fan, and Ratliff would fit that mold. I am not saying he definitely is, only that he wouldn't be the first player to massage his injuries to miss a few days of camp.

what credit do you want us to give to bernardeau?

a backup that we overpaid, came in out of shape last year, missed most of training camp because he was injured, played appallingly during the season when he was fit, missed this seasons off season sessions and then fails a conditioning test. Seems to me he's just a fat POS all round with a crap poor attitude towards getting healthy to me.
