You have to think what does this mean? Are the Cowboys looking to bring in a DT? I dont know what this means in terms of cap for this yr. Anybody know? Does it basically take away the remaining base salary for the remaining 10 weeks?

Atleast this is a sign of dead weight being dropped. I like the stance lately of the team. They told Free either take the pay cut or get released. Now releasing dead weight.

Remember stephen said they were looking to sign a couple of guys. Wynn is one who is the other?

Doesn't really affect this season. He wasn't on the roster and his cap savings don't really start kicking in until next year.

I think Dallas just decided since he isn't going to play this year to go ahead and cut him now instead of waiting until the offseason.

The current roster is at 52 players, so we can add 1 player at any time. I expect it to be a call up from the PS rather than an off the street or another team's PS signing.

I think Dallas is waiting to see how the RB situation unfolds before adding anyone. If Murray can't play, then the Cowboys probably call up Meggett. If not, either the best special-teamer comes up or Dallas just holds off on adding anyone until next week.

Well, we could use a DE or DT. Not sure about a RB. Suspect they'll roll with what they have right now.
