So we trade Anthony Henry and bring in Rolle? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense...:laugh2:

An injured Rolle is better than Henry. ;)

Can't think of a better fit than Dallas. He would give them some vet experience on the heals of releasing vets: Henry and William. I watched Rolle last year and the guy can still play. He is 32 - could give Dallas two more years of good production and he comes from a physical defense...which is what Dallas needs to be more of.

hurt way to often. If it was the Rolle that played for the Titans 6 years ago or so, then yes please. Now a-days, no thanks.

We wouldnt be asking him to come in and be an every down player. He would be used in package situations only.

I'm all for it.

this guy is this <> close to being washed up

he was a good player several yrs ago...now he's a liability

I'd rather go with what we have and maybe add somebody via the draft.

Am I the only one who feels vet experience is overrated?

What is Samari going to tell our guys they don't already know?
Don't blow coverages
Don't say stupid things to the media
Don't get caught using drugs
Don't grab face masks

other than the QB position, I just don't value vet experience.

Am I wrong here?

Yes, because there are a few things a vet will know that you cant teach a younger person yet. Mostly to be patient, or how certain QBs react, or what to look for in certain qb's. This is why the NFL teams are not handed over to younger players from the get go.

As much as people are screaming to get younger and younger and younger, you toss away experience for that youth and that can leave you in a big hole at the wrong time.

Rolle can teach the younger CB's tools of the trade that you dont learn in college, or that you cant learn from a play book.

and 2 more years of a young player not getting experience, then will leave in FA.

We have to sign a vet, be it Lucas, McAllister, or Rolle. We have the following at CB:

Newman - no way he plays 16 games, last two years he's missed games with injury and now he's on the wrong side of 30.

Please explain since Newman is just 30 and the wrong side of 30, what would be the right side of 30. just asking!
