Ravens @ Pats Game Thread - FINAL

Romo isn't an elite QB, I'd agree with that. However, he's by far not the main issue with this team.
This team was built around Romo. The experiment hasn't worked. We add offensive linemen, defensive help, receivers, stud runners, 3 head coaches, new stadium, what else does this guy need?

Get a stud QB 1st rounder, and build this team around that guy.

We didn't make the playoffs and you think I'm trolling, we as a fan-base don't deserve a Super Bowl.

Just as long as you realize that Romo isn't the reason we're not in the playoffs. He's not even close to being the reason. Also, it's only a big game when we lose. It's never a big game when we win.

Well you identify our QB as being the major problem with our team. Or at least, that's how it seems to me. That's why I think you are.

Based on some of your posts, if I hit you in the head with a brick, the brick would be dumber as a result.

He's the number 1 reason, IMO. I base my opinions over his ENTIRE body of work. You guys are married to stats. You think Romo is better than Flacco, yet his team gives up 23 points to the Pats, and he still puts his team in position to win in the AFC championship game, not some meaningless game 3 in the regular season.

Defensive help?

Have you been watching the past few years?

Worst defense in Cowboys history - documented.

But, you keep on keeping on.

LOL.. you criticize Romo's undrafted status in another post... say we need a 1st round QB in this one....

I wonder how the Patriots managed to win multiple Super Bowls with a simpleton 6th round QB. Clearly, if they had gone with your successful model, they'd have won several more.

whatever you say means nothing because you're not very smart when it comes to football, so everything you say is meaningless to me.

To win in this league, you need a QB and a Head Coach. We have neither.

I'm dead serious about this too. I've been saying this for 4 years now, and 4 years later, it's still true. Back then, we were saying, oh, we need this and that, and when we get it, new excuses come up.

I just don't think Romo was made for this brand of football. He's exciting to watch, but when it's the upper class part of the league, Romo disappears mentally. The sooner this FO realizes this, the sooner we can rebuild this team around a QB that is accustomed to being under heavy pressure, used to playing in HUGE games, playing against the best of the best in College, we need a 1st round QB, nothing less.

the rapist did not go to a big school did he? Brees went to PUrdue; and its not like they are the SEC are they?

Matter of fact when was the last SEC QB to win the SB?

THere is so much stupidity in your post its hard to know where to start.

Correction: you base your opinion of Romo on the whole team's entire body of work, and fail to recognize the difference.

Well glad the Pats won because if I had to see niners and ravens in the SB I would have been at the PLUS SIZE STRIP CLUB LOL

The stadium is built around Romo? Wade as coach was built around Romo? Getting "defensive help" is building the team around Romo? (I guess that means that every player acquired for any position on the team is an example of building around Romo). Drafting one player high on the OL over the past several years is building around Romo? Cutting the veterans on the OL is building around Romo (maybe rebuilding around Romo)?

Troll.

.

when did we get it?......Romo since day 1 in this league has never had an O line worth half their paychecks.......not to mention the biggest choke of a defense in team history.....

Name the undrafted QBs who have won a Super Bowl, and then name the number 1 picks who have won, then get back to me. It's like arguing with a fork, nothing gets through.

Yes I do think Romo is better than Flacco. Romo has had similar games in the past where he puts his team in position to win games. It's not his fault that his defenses (which btw have not helped him at all since he's been the qb) self destructs at the end of games.

And also, what oline help has he gotten? We finally addressed the unit last April.

I'm not very smart? LOL What ever helps you sleep at night. Your posts prove you're a regular football genius. Why don't you give a call to some of the NFL owners and get a gig as a GM. You're obviously wasting your talents on here. :laugh2:
