I add Brooks to WR group . Goodbye 81
Simi has limited catching skills... poor ball tracking skills and he's stiff, he has to have free release off the line, cannot stop & re-start well, and
has to build up running momentum.

Project toy experiment should be over.

I'd rather have Dennis Houston on practice squad than Simi...

Davis averaged 4.0 a carry last night, I don’t see him going to the practice squad. He had an 18 yard run, the longest of any of our backs. He’s still ahead of Vaughn, who took a step back last night averaging only 2.8 a carry.
Vaughn took a step back? Lol

Rb - pollard, dowdle duece - Davis to practice squad

Wr- lamb, cooks, gallop, Tolbert, Turpin and someone else not named fehoko. Pick young/fast guy who can play special teams.
I don't see the Cowboys carrying 6 receivers...

This is probably correct. It sure looks thin to me though. Dowdle has a long injury history, and Pollard is coming off injury. Say what you will about Deuce, but he is no starting 3-down back.

Brooks sure looks like the 6th. They will keep Turpin, but I think he's a wasted spot. Regardless, I think 6 WR is a must in today's NFL. It wouldn't be a surprise if they only kept 5. With such good depth at the position, they may think they can stash 1+ WR's on the PS. I doubt Brooks gets poached if exposed.

I like Vaughn and was like everyone else, maybe tried to crown too soon. From what I saw last night I still like pollard, Davis, Dowdle in that order. Vaughn would be number 4 in special packages but he’s not a three down back and isn’t going to have the size to pic up blocks. Definitely don’t think there is any way Davis should go to practice squad as we know what he oooks like behind a decent line

Absolutely Houston over 81 . All Houston does is catch balls downfield .

Jalen Brooks could be that guy that beats out Fehoko.
Yes Davis to the PS. Deuce looks much better. Though last night only had the one great TD run. Otherwise he was stuffed. But with 3rd string OL, that will happen.
Brooks is sneaky good. Seems reliable with his routes and hands. Just needs reps.

Billy Johnson isn't bad either. I feel we are very deep at wr. I'd like to go heavy at wr. These kids are too good to get cut.

Really honest question here. If the coaching staff really think Duece is better than Davis, as you believe, then why hasnt Duece played in the first half of either game?
To me its a legit question that no one wants to answer.

Why does Deuce get 1st team reps in practice?

We were decimated last night ,but luckily they weren't starters necessarily. That turf in Seattle is an issue. Overshown wasn't even really hit,he had his leg stick into the turf then twist slightly. That's the problem with AstroTurf. It's very unforgiving.

I think fake grass should be outlawed in the nfl. Many of these acl injuries happen on this type of surface.
