RB Dowdle

Lol, we should start a “Player X won’t make it to the practice squad” thread.

Would be an interesting thread. Usually people overestimate the chance that a player gets poached. Maybe I am too, but a QB on the cheap is such a valuable piece, and a piece that teams are willing to be patient developing, that DiNucci getting poached is more likely than most. Bottom of the roster churn of QBs makes sense simply to see up close what they've got.

Even the wifey said "who's that dawdle?".

He looked good and deserves serious consideration.....playing RB on the To Be Cut Team is no laughing matter!

I liked him last year. He plays hard. He's quick. He has good speed. What is not to like about him.

Yeah, probably. I said DiNucci wouldn't make it to the PS either, so confused the threads.

As for Dowdle, while RBs aren't as valuable, they are a bit more plug and play. If a team doesn't like their RBs, or gets caught short by injuries, picking up Dowdle is possible. Although maybe probably a team caught short and needing immediate depth would prefer a veteran.

Still, good play could get Dowdle on someone's radar, and he'd come cheap as an UDFA.
