I like him. I think he's played well.

He’s 3rd back. It’s just a matter of how we juggle the roster IMO. Not sure who we do it with but generally one or two guys get cut and re-added once Simone shift to PUP.

I'd like nothing better than to see Dowdle earn a roster spot and show he's able to provide a spark when it's needed.

Nice seeing him show some intense effort and being capable of catching a pass occasionally. It seems he's progressing.

I'd venture to say it looks like he'd be capable of providing some useful assistance if our RBs happen to need a breather.

He was the 3rd RB last season. He will be that again this season.

I believe he would've taken that run from their own one yard line in the HOF game 99 yards if he wouldn't have stumbled.

He won't last on the PS. Trade him or keep on the 53.

I'd say that's likely. Teams generally like to keep their own similar players when not a significant upgrade.

Dowdle is servicable, and fine for a RB3. Not much more.

I never even heard of the guy, TBH, before the HOF game. I have to admit though, the kid stood out. I liked what I saw.

PS is what I was thinking. He is to quick and strong if we had and injurie. The kid has a little "Moxie".

Dowdle is a great number three back since he also plays special teams and can even return kicks. I think he has a nice burst and like you said, he runs hard. His spot on the 53 is secure.
