that is not what I said. I think he didn't know how to play special teams after the 6 week crash course of training camp. Make of that what you will.

But, I do agree with the premise.....no need to worry about who will be the main back.

Think you may have misunderstood- was saying to everyone that thinks we need to draft a rb high (or will be disappointed if we don't) that even Murray wasn't a high pick. So it isn't necessary. Players do develop, yes. But we may need someone closer to nfl-ready to play right away rather than spend seasons on the bench learning. The middle rounds seem historically a good place to find quality, ready rbs.

I agree but if Gurley or Gordon is there, draft him immediately.
