RB Reshard Lee cut by Bills...

Lee, Dixon, Hunter. A number of POS players that made our team last year but probably will be out of the NFL this year. Shows how horrid our roster was.
Just look at our backfield alone last year. All are gone!

Evening Mickey!

Running back ReShard Lee was among seven players waived. A two-year NFL veteran, Lee was expected to compete for the backup spot behind starter Willis McGahee when the Bills signed him in May. Lee had a disappointing preseason with 16 carries for 44 yards and three catches for 18 yards. His playing time gradually diminished as he was overshadowed by second-year veteran Shaud Williams and rookie seventh-round pick Lionel Gates.

Too bad. I was hoping he'd catch on there. Maybe he'll land somewhere else. I think the Steelers and Eagles are looking for backs.

unfortunately, we have "0" talent in the return game.
I'll trade rb depth for kick return ability any day. I'd rather have someone that can step in if JJ goes down than someone who can return kicks besides Thompson seems to be doing just fine.

Lee was still better than Eddie George last year. Heck, even this year. George hasn't even been on a roster yet.

Just glad that this year Dallas seems to be in better condition. A better veteran(A-Train>George), a couple of better young prospects(Barber and Thompson>Lee) to go along with Julius.

He had a bad week, but he still shows more potential than Lee. Gates runs much like Henry did. The trick is he has to learn to run between the tackles rather than breaking it outside everytime. Lee showed very little of anything this preseason. I'm not surprised by this at all.

Not to sound like I'm bragging on the Bills, but we have lots of great return guys...that's because our blockers know what they're doing, making all the return men look good. last year alone we had four guys return kicks/punts for touchdowns. This preseason Lee looked good, but so did Leonard, Clements, and McGee...oh, and now we have Roscoe Parrish too. There's just no room on the roster for a guy looking to make the team on kick return ability alone.

With all that talent the Bills are going all the way this year! I'd hate for you to give a position by position analysis of the Bills roster. Enough to make me puke.

I was Born and raised in WNY and I HATE the Bills.

Me thinks Philly might pick him up. Andy Reid knows first hand that the kid has talent and he may be patient enough to work with him.

It's not what he can do, it is what he can't or wont do.

How is his pass-blocking?

That will make or break his chances of being an Eagle.

His pass blocking is awful.

I care. No, really. I care.

Bills waived RB ReShard Lee, QB Tory Woodbury, WR Tony Brown, P Steve Baker, DE Uyi Osunde, LB Daryl Towns and DB Rob Lee.
Lee had a chance to win the backup running back role behind Willis McGahee. It looks like the Bills will go with Lionel Gates or Shaud Williams. Aug. 28 - 4:44 pm et

For the curious.

looks like the Vikes claimed him off waivers.. though ESPN's transaction list has him with the Boys and not from the Bills..

Imagine that.. ESPN goofed

Yep terrible and that is what kept him off the field when Julius was hurt and we had Eddie George with a terrible YPC average.

I have also heard, do not know if it is true or not, that it was one of the main reasons the bill cut him.
