Never understood why they signed him to begin with, there were better option for a FA RB, at least we moved on quickly.

We didn’t expect Dowdle to turn it on like he did. Dowdle playing well and him being suspended was enough.

Eagles traded a 4th for D'Andre Swift, are paying him $1.7M, and will get a comp pick when he leaves next year. That was the move in the offseason.

Nothing special about getting a broken down running back and getting a 6th overall 7th round comp pick for him….thru could've just drafted a rb in the 4th round….

We need depth, Pollard can't continue getting 20+ carries a game. It will take away his explosiveness.

Yes that would be the right move. Pollard and Dowdle are injury prone. Both suffered injuries the past 2 season. And Pollard only off to a decent start so far. He needs a few more games to get back to himself.
