Nall is a ST ace. Im not mad at this signing. He has flex to play RB and can start at FB. The question is, will Kellen M use him right? My beef is, why arent we running the west cast offense, getting everyone involved? This current scheme doesn't inspire.

If McCarthy is going to be more involved with the offense, that could mean adding more West Coast principles.

He looks like he could be a FB, good size.
He is a ST player, that they might use as FB or in short yardage.

His previous record is mainly on ST's, but lets give the guy a chance.

The problem is, they spent $1+ million on a camp body predraft.

You can find this guys anywhere. Post draft, post Camp cuts, UDFAs etc

My issue is you can sign a starting caliber LG in Trai Turner for $3 million and fill a massive need. Instead we get this. I’m not against Nall. Would just rather spend another million or two and sign a starter

Exactly. We would be talking about how Nall might upgrade the special teams right now if the Cowboys had actually done something else bigger by now.

Every team makes signings like this and many fellow Cowboys fans are trying to spin it into being more than it is.
