Poaching from the other professional football leagues has been a course of action for the Cowboys in recent years. Why not acquire an RB that way?

Israel Abandinkanda - 5th round pick that is not going to see action - was a 3/4 round projection in 2023. .

Give the Jets a 2025 5th.

Israel 5’11 at 211 ran 4.3 and is an explosive one cut runner. Different from what’s in the RB room at the moment yet won’t cost you much in $$ with reasonable upside.
I wanted us to draft him last year, PLEASE TAKE HIM!

Couldve just drafted him last year. Heck we coulda drafted him with any one of our top 4 picks and we wouldve been getting back more from him than anyone of the bums we took.

Dallas is NOT trading future picks for a running back or anyone else.....rebuild starts in 2025,
Yup.....this brother gets it.

Jerry is laying out his plan right in full view......all one has to do is ACCEPT IT.

Like our Hispanic speaking fans here would say, Toma, Toma, Toma.

I loved Izzy in last years draft. Should've made it happen then. If we're talking about Jets RBs though, I'm inquiring hard about Breece Hall. Their RB room is crowded and considering they took another two backs this draft, I think he could be had for a 2 or 3. Start with a 4 and see if they bite.
Breece Hall isn’t going anywhere.

Again, fans are the only ones that want this.

The front office thinks it’s already solved the problem with Elliott.

The majority that are fine with that signing seem to think he will be in some very limited role, when the last we heard from Jerry, he clearly said “RB1.”

There were several fans on here last year that wanted to draft him. I was one that would have been ok with that after I seen some game film and read more about him.
Thanks to all in the draft zone for posting about him.

They drafted Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis. Not sure they go 4 deep at RB
Will be entertaining to watch all other team cuts with the RBs.
We will be like buzzards in a tree by the highway waiting for road kill.

If Izzy was a 5th rounder, and he didn't play, and the NYJ already used a quarter of his rookie deal, I'd say a 6th would be fair trade compensation.

That deal would a win-win. The Jets may otherwise cut Izzy with two new Day 3 rookie RBs just drafted. Izzy would get playinh time in Dallas and would immediately become the best pure rusher on the Cowboys roster

Totally agree with your point. I think you see a trade or higher pick required because they can move on for the right price with the other 4 backs. Bass would help their Oline round out. Straight up Israel for Bass is a win-win
OL hold more value, but the problem with the big boys is keeping them moving, so weigh your options and make prudent FO decisions before the options run out.
Jerry and son have been consistently exposed.

It would be the most Cowboy thing for this FO to do is ignore the position in the draft and then trade draft capital to acquire one.
Fast forward to Week 9 and the Cowboys sending a 1st to Seattle for Kenneth Walker.

Jerry will talk about getting criticized for making no trades as last year's trade deadline.

Yeah but given those facts they're probably gonna cut a couple of those guys they're not all making the team so if the Cowboys are patient I know fans are not does Carly gonna be guys like them all over the league that are gonna be cut soon or at least after training camp and before the season there's gonna be a lot of bodies dropping the Cowboys probably get a guy like that for free but it doesn't hurt to inquire with a low round draft pick I agree
