The Devil's Advocate in me kind of wanted Manziel. I didn't believe it was a bad idea to have your QB of the Future on the roster. I knew it wasn't the best pick but we sure dodged a bullet and ended up with one of the best football players on the game.

I recorded them all today. Just saw CLE trade up for Trent Richardson and the fan base went nuts with joy. Crazy how that works. Then we traded up for Claiborne and Mayock said he has the best ball skills of any CB to come out in years. And besides a flew slip and falls he is as clean as they come. They skipped the 2013 draft so 2014 is next.

It got so crazy around here leading up to that draft regarding Manziel, that I put together a list of those for and against. Even had quotes of what some said.
It really got nasty

The funniest rhing to watch on draft day was Gruden just shellacking every team that past on him.

But im looking at 2014 when Clowney went 1st. Id forgot that Mayock was one of the only ones sayi g Khalil Mack should be the guy. Credit due there.

I'd think NT? It'll take a toll on his body like it did Ratliff, since he seems a tad undersized for it. From what I remember the Ends in a 3-4 didn't do much for us, and they were bigger than Donald I think.

I think end would be the spot for him with Brockers at NT. But ourlad's has Donald at NT and Brockers at end.

They're a good example of why people shouldnt just look at a franchise regardless of who is drafting for them, and assume theyll do what was always done.

As I said earlier, GMs don't just forget everything they learned for 30 years when they change locations.
I'm sure Cleveland and Jacksonville are hoping that applies to them too.

I forgot the 2014 draft was the one where they had Shaziers agent on the phone (rumored) saying his guy would be their pick...since PIT wasnt in need of a LB. Then PIT called Shazier saying they were drafting him. I'd say both teams made out quite well.
