Can somebody tell me where the hell the weight has been re-distributed too and for what?

What weight are you referring to?

All these articles mention Ware is poised for a break-out season because he has re-distributed his weight. That is all they are telling us and it is about as vague an answer as one can get. I was just wondering if anybody had any additional information what this means and why Ware did it.

Maybe this will help...

So the girdle is the key to a 20 sack season....

I wonder why nobody tried it out before....

Ahhh ok, I haven't had a chance to read those threads.

The problem is, there isn't much to read. All they tell us is Ware re-distributed the weight, so watch out for a monster season.

They were accusing him of using steroids, which causes muscle growth, but involves significant shrinkage.

Usually that's sort of a euphemism for losing fat and gaining muscle, so that you may weigh the same but look different because you have more muscle on you... But Ware was never fat, so I have no idea that this means. Probably nothing. Just a blurb in a blog.

Yeah, it means hes losing weight in some places and adding it to others. You know, losing arm strength to add it to his legs. Losing neck strength and adding it to his core.

It's *** up I know, but I hope it helps.

He's now like a giant 450 cc driver with a huge sweet spot.

Ware's a finely tuned sack machine. Not into lifting weights but good trainers like we have would know how many reps a player needs to improve his arm strength; same goes for upper legs etc particularly when working with that player over a few years. His diet could also be changed to affect physical changes.

He was never fat but he has never been exactly ripped, either. Maybe this means he is more ripped and toned now with the same weight as before.

it's not that cut and dry, he's adding more weight, which is muscle, but he's distributing it to his lower body and upper-body, and keeping it away from his midsection/torso, so that he doesn't get too stiff, which will allow him to continue to nearly hug the ground while turning the corner, as well as being to turn and run in coverage w/ the same fluidity, and he'll still be big enough to manhandle OTs straight-up

Um, okay...

it's not hard, dude

he's adding weight, but it's muscle, and the workouts he does are mostly lower-body (according to him) and he said he tried not to get too stiff, you only get stiff having too much muscle in your mid-section

I'm not sure exactly how he's doing that than maybe not doing too many crutches
