All the little things add up. And you will just say it was another reason they won, and not even think of the entire football operations.
Nothing to hate on, well, except the haters will find something.where did I say I hated it. Only said I would wait to see.
Zach Pascal is a Wide ReceiverIt's still a QB driven league. The last 4 years QB's for the Colts:
2022 Matt Ryan
2022 Sam Ehlinger
2022 Nick Foles
2021 Carson Wentz
2021 Jacob Eason
2020 Phillip Rivers
2020 Jacoby Brissett
2020 Zach Pascal
2019 Jacoby Brissett
2019 Brian Hoyer
2019 Zach Pascal
There is a huge difference between scouting/player acquisition and analytics.
Aaah, I understand now. Thank you so much BH @Bobhaze !!!Analytics in sports is a data/facts based way to look at making game plans and game time decisions. It uses facts and tendencies about all teams, players and situations so you can better understand your own team and how to utilize its talent as well as better knowing your opponents based on factual data not just human intuition.
Analytics can show you things like this: (These are just hypotheticals)
Analytics gives you factual data to help make better informed decisions.
- On 3rd down and 5 or more yards, Tony Pollard is the best weapon option in the running game vs the 49ers (based on current data), showing a 70% conversion rate.
- The eagles appear to be vulnerable for an onside kick early in the game based on their kick return habits.
- Going for it on 4th and 2 or less inside giants territory has a 74% chance of success.
Their owner has issues.
That was KM , not analytics.Analytics? Same analytics that had the cowboys throwing in the redzone on second down with 2 yards to go, in the playoffs against San Fran? Lol
All the little things do not matter when you blow the big ones like bad coaches and an incompetent GMAll the little things add up. And you will just say it was another reason they won, and not even think of the entire football operations.

EXACTLY. That is when all the numbers in the world do not help. That is where the real champions show themselves, not a list of numbers.Analytics may have a place in the game, but when a team is at the line of scrimmage all that stuff goes out the window and the specific dynamics of that moment decide what the best call is.
A play caller and QB with a feel for the game is much better than computer generated percentages based on similar, but not the same situations.
I assume by getting Reich fired. Another article was saying Reich had him on the headset during games and wouldn't question any of his recommendations.played a big role in the Colts' coaching search this offseason.
Well Moore is gone….a major good thing and and a little one…All the little things do not matter when you blow the big ones like bad coaches and an incompetent GM
Dang this post has me hungry. He’s a cheeseburger guru, that’s about it.
Always an excuse for Jerry from some of his minions.Well Moore is gone….a major good thing and and a little one…
The GM is not on the field making plays. As no FO makes every move the correct one.
Always a reason to hate on Jerry and anything about the team from many fans. And never a good word from them.Always an excuse for Jerry from some of his minions.
Our fans have issues. Our owner has issues.
LolWhen someone shows me that this really makes a difference in wins and losses I will show interest.
Lol, I love these interesting opinions.Absolutely, the guy's a moron.
Please. Analytics are gonna help a team that whiffs at qb over and overThe Colts have sucked lately. I will reserve judgment on this hire.
One's "interest" in a given subject does not make one an expert. Apparently they have hired an alleged expert. I don't have any problem with that. But I thought Mike McCarthy was the analytics guru?
