Most distressing part of the game besides almost not winning was our utter inability to get the Giants off the field on third down, especially third and long.

What calls?

What calls did dallas get? The last TD by dez was close but went our way and the 4th and 2 call that ended the game. But both were correct calls so I guess they don't really count as there were some atrocious calls earlier in the game that went the giants way.

1st part of the game, heck at one point NY was 7 of 7 on 3rd, Cowboys did a much better job in the 2nd half of the game

Carter was not good in coverage either. He allowed one TD to beckham. Spencer was disappointing but not to the level of carter imo

I saw one TD where hitchins came runing over to try and make a play - it looked like carter was closer but just stood still

I know some people were expecting us to blow them out but people don't realize Giants played the 49ners very tough the week before.

Any divisional games on the road is a tough game (i.e. GB-Minny game)

The was an obvious fumble. I was ticked. But dallas got some calls late. The dez TD and the 4th and 2 call. Both were correct calls imo but could've gone the other way easily.

I hear you, but if they are correct calls then we didn't get anything that should not have already been ours.
The Giants on the other hand........

Yep that's the play I'm talking about. Carter made no attempt there while Hitchens was further away and at least tried to get there. Looks like carter will be the odd man out this offseason.

Shame Romo's back has taken the zip off his fastball. I am wondering what it is going to take for Romo to start getting calls for all of the late hits that get put on him.

I don't know, maybe Garrett getting in the refs' face about it and bringing it to their attention during their pre-game meeting with the refs?

Divisional games are usually hard fought close games, ask the Packers fans how they felt yesterday during the Vikes game.

The 1st half was horrible. Every 3rd and 10+ was converted. Very frustrating. Still need a better pass rush.

Biggest play of the game was the Church pick. Parcells always used to say that there are three or four plays a game that determines who wins, and that 14 point swing was one of them.

The Giants were hoping it would be 3 or 4 non-calls by the refs against the Cowboys that propelled them to victory.

That game showed the lasting benefit of hitting a qb. During the first half, Eli was near perfect. He clearly wasn't nearly as sharp in the second half even on plays where he wasn't hurried. Hit a qb enough times and it will stay in his head.

Beasley was big. And I like how dallas executed the screen game as well.

Good to see other WR's getting involved..but where in the heck is TWILL.... don't recall seeing him or hearing his name called one time last night

Possession receivers like that can disappear when you don't scheme ways to get him the ball creatively. Just one of those games I guess. I don't think he was doing anything differently last night than usual. When Tony decides to go his way twill will be ready.

Also, thought carter and spencer did not play well against the run - especially carter. But maybe others can confirm if that is accurate or not.

He was just kind of out there. Murray said the whole team was rusty. They probably took an extra day off after the London trip to readjust to the time, so I can understand fighting jet lag, etc. for half the week during the bye.

Spencer had his worst game so far this year. Reminded me of the pre-2011 Spencer that used to get sucked inside all the time as an OLB instead of setting the edge and controlling the strong side of the offensive line to force plays inside.
