I swear, take that avatar down

it's offensive to Bob's!!

but seriously, I kind of see why Barber is ranked so low, he's never been a feature back, and probably never will be as long as he's in Dallas

20. Chris "Beanie" Wells, Cardinals. Wells is big and powerful, in the Jacobs mold. Wells is only a rookie but should overtake Tim Hightower as the first- and second-down back and get the call in short-yardage and goal-line situations. Wells must improve as a pass blocker and receiver, but that will come in time.

Ok let's see.

Marion Barber: 4 NFL Seasons, 3,052 rushing yards, 4.3 avg, 36 TD's, 1,010 receiving yards, 1 ProBowl appearance.

Chris "Beanie" Wells: 0 NFL Seasons, 0 rushing yards, 0.0 avg, 0 TD's, 0 receiving yards, 0 game appearances.

Gee, let me see which guy I'd rather have...someone please help me out...this decision is tough!

More food for thought...

Darren McFadden: 113 rushes, 499 yards, 4.4 avg, 4TDs
Tashard Choice: 92 rushes, 472 yards, 5.1 avg, 2TDs

Pretty much sums it up. What a bogus list. And don't forget Slaton for the Texans had a much better rookie season than McFadden.

As much as I think it's a bad list, keep in mind that's it supposed to be a scouting list. Therefore, they don't really look at YPA or how much yardage some guy got, because those statistics are highly dependant on team talent as much as the individual player.

They're supposed just look at the player's individual skills and athleticism more or so than conventional statistics.

Then again they used a ton of stats themselves, which doesn't help their cause. Yea, it's just a ****ty list.

Thanks to the information age everyone has an opinion and they seem to like to post it with no regard.

I would take Marion Barber over 11, maybe 12 of those choices easily. Hell, one of them is a rookie who hasn't even played yet.

Foolish list.

Yeah namely Ryan Grant!

I thought this list was fair and impartial.

Beanie Wells :lmao2:

Seriously. It's pure insanity to have a rookie up there over a proven NFL running back like Barber.

Just asinine.

My first thought. I could make an argument until the bottom third/fourth but I'd put MB in the top 15 at the very least.

Um, how do you have an untested rookie on the list and NOT Marion Barber? sometimes the national media are just idiOts
Barber's a journeyman. Nothing wrong with that though.

I may have considered putting TD on a list before a single play but I can't say I definitely would. Nah. Might injure a knee in camp and not play the first year at all.

Showing stats of what they did does not indicate the talent level of a running back. McFadden played on the freaking Raiders.

Anyone who would take Tashard Choice over Darren McFadden is nuts.

Barber did average something like 3.9 YPC on an offense that supposedly has 3 probowl linemen. They probably deducted him for that.

#2, Stephen Jackson?

Where is Julius Jones on that list? Yet another wonderfully thought out pick by that waste of steaming diarehitic dog turds that is 34-32's legacy in Dallas.

This list would be funny if it wasn't so sad. The author is clearly an idiot.
