Reality Check Viewer Discretion Advised!

Argue with Tony Dungy because he's another one who put that fumble squarely on Romo. The safety was creeping up and it's the QB's job to notice him and Romo never looked his way even though he was coming up. Romo's awareness has gone down the drain and that play was a perfect example. He use be excellent at feeling pressure in the pocket now he's looking like Bledslow.

that play had nothing to do with his pocket awareness:confused:

that is a pre snap read if your putting all the blame on romo. for my comments on him looking like bledsoe see

fine i could argue it but i dont have the energy but it wasnt a fumble from him you are used to, that guy comes free blind side thats a strip sack on every QB in the league. it wasnt a bonehead throw on the int and it wasnt a careless fumble because he didnt secure the ball.

like i said i wont argue the fumble ill just say i dont believe anybody should get to the QB untouched

Really? So if one of our defensive players got to an opposing QB you wouldn't agree with it or like it? Come up with another line of reasoning.

I've defended Romo for quite a while now, but I can't defend yesterday's loss. The INT might not have been his fault, but, the fumble was definitely all Romo.

It had to do with the read and his pocket awareness. He's not feeling pressure that's what's causing his fumbles. He has to feel that safety moving up. He has no idea where defenders are and never sees the hits coming.

It's the QB's responsibility to recognize where the blitz is coming from... Romo has shown repeatedly he can't identify where the safeties are... See the Giants game earlier this year and the Raven game from last year and of course yesterday's game...

fine thats your call.

why would i not like or agree with our guy getting to the QB? i would love it. that doesnt mean someone on the other team shouldnt have blocked him.
nobody is supposed to go untouched to the qb, its a breakdown in blocking assignments or blitz pickup/recognition when that happens.

can no one else account for the safty coming up? your telling me romo is supposed to see him and everybody is suppossed to just let him come and tony is just suppossed to get the ball out before he gets there? c'mon

once again it has nothing to do with his pocket awareness it is his read. him not feeling pressure caused that fumble, ball security when trying to get away from pressure has been his knock. so part in bold is wrong.

id forget to look for the safties too if every play i had to tell my WR and TE where to line up

That's called adjustments... And enough with the Romo excuses.

Fmart you're the only one I've seen over here that I recognize. I think I remember Theebs from the old FWST.

I'm sure some of these guys posted over there back in the day. I know Theebs used to.

The book on Romo is simple:

Pressure him up the middle and keep him funneled and he cant beat you.

Not feeling pressure has to do with his pocket awareness. lol He doesn't feel pressure like he use to. He's fumbled many times because he isn't aware of where defenders are. He loses them and gets nailed. His reads and pocket awareness are causing his game to completely unravel. He's playing like it's December not Oct. He's starting to look like Quincy Carter.

I am putting the blame on the right things. You're telling me Romo wasn't responsible for the turnovers when the fumble was clearly on him. Do you even watch the games?

who?

ok here we go stay in here cause im going to ask quick questions

people have complained that romo makes too many bonehead plays do you agree?

It's Romo's job to keep the WR's on the same page.

That's what leaders do.

Instead, he just pouts when Austin runs the wrong route.

Can you imagine what Troy would have done in that situation? He would have ripped Austin a new one.

But not romo, he puts his stupid hat backwards and sits on the bench and crys his dumbo ears out.

He doesn't have what it takes to be great. It's why he has never had success on any level. It's why he wasn't drafted or recruited by a big college.

I think everyone just assumed it was lack of talent that prevented Romo from being known. So we all got excited when we saw how talented he was when given a chance. But now we see that Romo is the worst of all possible worlds. A talented QB who squanders all that talent with a poor work ethic, lackadaisical attitude and zero leadership skills.

He makes too many boneheaded decisions. It's not necessarily the "plays" it's his "decisions". Do you not agree?
