There could be some good objective discussions on this forum offering sound criticism of Dak much like we offer on other subjects. But the extremes on both sides won’t allow. It was the same thing with Romo.

One thing is, unfortunately, clear - Dak's as good as he's ever going to be, and I wouldn't argue too much with those who say he's on a decline, though I don't think he is.

Having said that, teams have won SBs by just really by accident just put it all together one year, or even one post-season, as in the Giants win against the 18-0 Pats. Joe Flacco had a great post-season in "his" SB win, has done nothing of note since.

Barring a catastrophic injury or a run of low win seasons, like 4-13, 6-11 and 5-12 in a row, Dak will be our quarterback for at least another 2-3 years. People can whine, gripe, insult and bring up fanciful trade scenarios all they want, and if it makes them feel better who am I to rain on their parade? Though I have the right to comment on their posts.

Here's hoping Dak can put together that magical run, at this point while I want multiple more SB wins, I'll take the one if that's all Dallas can do for the next 26 years, or until I'm six feet under, which given my family history and current state of health is probably about 20 years away, if that. Can also hope that somehow the defense can get to Giants or Ravens level and we won't need Dak to do that much.

Regardless, tearing down Dak won't do one bit of good...

I really don’t like to say their careers were wasted . Did they not get a better opportunity to win a championship , maybe not but careers aren’t measured on winning championships alone .

Agreed, I wasn't saying their careers were wasted, rather I was being sarcastic...

Right..

And there’s nothing wrong with criticism as we we would for all facets of the team, coaching staff and front office . But to claim Dak is our sole reason or cause for lack of more success isn’t a balanced analysis leaving out other weaknesses, flaws and contributing factors.

I've not seen a single person say this.

I challenge you to find someone saying this in a serious discussion.

Well said. The majority of fans understand this, which is why you don't see the knowledgeable fans messing around much in Dak threads. Dak threads have now completely devolved into pathetic spats.

Isn’t it interesting when I make these broad statements not calling out anyone individually who comes a running to respond.
No red flags. Lol
Actually, it's not interesting at all. The Dak thread inhabitants take joy in their little spats, repeating themselves ad nauseum and throwing the same little tired insults. It's nothing more than repetitive nonsense.

Everyone knows what Dak is at this point, which is why you don't see the best posters doing much in these threads. A driveby here or there maybe. Squabbling w/ the monkeys gets boring quickly.

I understand and usually stay away. I’ve advocated for ignoring but not enough do. So occasionally I make it my mission to take them on. This thread I started was for that purpose . Thanks

Oh, usually they don't say it in so many words, it's more comments like "We won't win anything with Dak as our quarterback". But since Dak was the only player or part of the team, coaches, etc. noted in the comment that's what they are saying.

Sly folks there, something doesn't have to be stated in a flat-out manner for people to know what they meant...

See finally a sensible post.

I agree, I think Dak has pretty much peaked. Perhaps the mental part he can I am prove.

With that said, it is what it is. Like I said teams have been to superbowl and won it with similar QB. Like Wentz/foles, Grossman, kaepernick, dilfer, flacco, delhomme, etc. It's having the right team, right coach, right culture. The last one being a big issue for us

Ahhh..khiladi...yourself at times.

And if you believed what you just said, there would be more criticism of other aspects of the team, but 99.345% of your post are on Dak criticism.

I need to see some proof of people saying Dak is the sole reason we lose games.
So if 99% of your and others complaints and posts is regarding Dak and Dak bashing...And people saying we will never win a championship with Dak....then you are trying to get technical because of the 1% (give or take a few percentage points)....I assume.

So what does it mean when someone says we will never win a championship with Dak!?

I am sure now you want to get technical and do away with semantics....however you have accused me of being a Dak supporter or Dak lover or whatever, although all I have done is question people's opinions or supposed partial facts they throw out.

I have never said I love Dak as cowboys QB.....so dont ever call me a Dak supporter unless you can provide proof

See how semantics work?

...Dak, for now. is good enough!...History has shown that Super Bowl winning teams do not have to have elite QBs to win (ex...Jeff Hostetler, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Mark Rypien, Doug Williams, Jim McMahon, Joe Flacco, and Nick Foles..)...Dallas can win a SB with Dak, but what of the rest of the team?...The Coaching, the Owner, The Cap limits, Health, and even luck....These things must all work in union.

You should have just did what your buddy did and not respond.

I called him out for proof and now I'm calling you out for it.

Either prove it or move along.

There's no reason to get all upset about it.

Either prove it or shut up.

Simple.
