Really bad feeling

We have to trust in this team that has EARNED our trust. I can assure you that they will come out prepared and play as hard as they possibly can. This team is special and has a vision. We know it, they know it and the Vikings are about to find it out for themselves. GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!

I really expected one of the games to be a loss for the home team.
That bothers me a bit - because of the Dome.
I hope the preparation for the noise has been adequate. This along with our penalties are my concern. Ok, maybe a turnover or 2 also.

I still believe our personnel are better overall, and I have to believe in our D.
So -GO COWBOYS!! Let's win this one and than concentrate hard on the 'aints.

Opps - forgot - it seems the home teams got some big time help from the officials yesterday too. That really makes me nervous.

My thoughts exactly. Especially the last part. I have to believe that the NFL would just love to see a Brett Favre Peyton Manning matchup in the Super Bowl.

I like the mental toughness this team has displayed this year. They are no longer mental midgets. This game provides the opportunity for greatness. I have not felt this positive about the Cowboys since the mid 90.

Back in those days, Aikman would always take the opening drive for a touchdown. I never felt nervous or anxious with those teams. This team is giving me that same feeling. Everything will be fine. We are about to reclaim our rightful place.

Get ready for people to start claiming again that they have always been Cowboy fans, thru thick and thin.

We crushed the Eagles season.

I remember being nervous about the 1992 NFC Championship Game. The Cowboys had to go to muddy Candlestick Park and beat a great 49ers team. These are the types of games they have to win if they want to be champions.

Exactly. I was nervously confident going into that game, just like I am today.

Roy Williams will be this game's Alvin Harper.

I was so nervous that day that I had my head buried in the pillow for the first quarter while the TV was on. I was listening, but I just couldn't bear to watch.

The Niners blew the game open on a long Jerry Rice TD early in the game, but it got called back by penalty.

I couldn't start watching until 4 minutes into the 2nd quarter. I thought for sure that the young, upstart team would choke on the road.

I'm happy that I was wrong.

After watching those last two games. Man I am nervous. That is all...

I guess I dont see any correlation. What do eysterdays games have to do with our game?

In the playoffs this year, only 2 of the 6 road teams have won.

Also, it is my opinion that the referees have been favoring the home teams as well. I am not just talking about penalites called, I am also talking about penalties NOT CALLED. For example, it has appeared that the visting teams are not getting pass interference, offensive holding, illegal contact, and roughing the passer calls nearly as much as the home teams have.

Some may disagree, but the eyeball test so far tells me that the home teams are getting either favorable calls or getting no calls against the other team. I have a sinking feeling that the Vikes are going to be getting this "preferential treatment" as well.

Well it's a good thing that we are used to it after all these years. ;)

I am more nervous this week than last. Vikings are not one dimensional like the Eagles. We can't just pin our ears back and attack Favre with AP in the backfield.. AP can break an 80 yarder at the blink of an eye. Eagles ran the ball 10 times. Rest assured AP will see no less than 22-23 carries.

I have little doubt that we'll continue to see the same type of garbage ref-ing we've seen the past few weeks. However we were the home team last week, and certainly didnt see any favoritism. Both of yesterdays games were so awful that I didnt watch them all, though I do think the Ravens got shafted a few times in the first half.

No doubt. He'll definitely get his share.

Getting out to a lead for us would be huge.

That feels so nice.

But this team has higher aspirations than beatings the iggles 3 times in a season.
And if Philly watches their TV, they can see it happen.

GO COWBOYS!!!

Oddly, I am not. I was sweatin' bullets last week, but I am not feeling the pressure this time around. All the pressure has subsided, and is now on the Vikings. Our guys are confident, and I honestly believe we will kick their butts. I bet we win by at least two touchdowns.
:starspin :starspin :starspin :starspin :starspin

I picked them to win by 20. Let's hope I'm right. It's not an easy game to call beforehand because there are so many factors. But in the end I think this comes down to Romo v Favre, as well as defense.

I think we win out on both counts.

AP may be great but his OL blocking is terrible thus negating much of the advantage of having a premier RB. I think it has been 6 games since he had more than 100 yards and he is averaging about 3 ypc lately. He is still a big weapon in the red zone.

The other thing is Favre has taken control of the offense. This probably means 70% passing today especially early in the game.

Me too.
Don;t forget about Chester Taylor in the passing game. I think he matches up well against the ILB's.

Exactly. The more wins by BIG D, the more Fecals fans feel pain.

We're all nervous but for the last few weeks we have had a most welcome respite from the interminable, useless fighting that takes place on this forum.

So everybody shush it, just this once and for just a few more hours, and believe already!

Go Cowboys!
