Wow after browsing the board for a little while, you'd would think that we lost today. Honestly you guys expect nothing but perfection in your team?? How many teams would meet your expectations????? Zero..... Absolutely none. I believe most of you guys would cry if you were hung with a new rope.

I agree that there are things to work on, somethings that I agree shouldn't be happening to a bunch of professional atheleltes, but come on, really? You don't like that Jason Garrett didn't have a fit about the kneel down plays, you don't like the Carr to safety move, even thought that puts our best players on the field....

Maybe what you all should do is pool all of your money together and buy a football team and then we could get to watch how a REAL team is run..... Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I hope I didn't offend anyone by putting the smiley at the end of my post.....

This will get little traffic because it's not negative or controversial.

Because our QB was almost assassinated today.

Learn football.

I will say that the defense isn't getting enough credit. Freeman had much better command in the previous two games. During the Carolina game, the announcers were commenting on how he had turned the corner, was making plays/decisions he didn't make last year, etc. Then, as we all know, he had a good game against NY. In this one, he was a deer in the headlights almost the entire game.

Nah, I don't expect perfection and I am very happy with the W.

What I do expect is for this team to stop committing penalties like they are going out of style. Mainly unforced false start penalties and offsides penalties either at the onset of EVERY drive or mixed in at the worst possible times during long drives. An occasional false start here and now, we can live with, but what is going on with this team in that regard is frustrating and is costing us and is on the coaches to clean up. Something that apparently is a major challenge for this coaching staff, seeing that we have had these problems for some time now.

Considering that our schedule is very difficult, you'd be crazy to not be concerned about our offensive line, our penalties and how poorly coached this team is going forward.

Again, happy about the W. Our defense played solid but those issues above were ridiculous today and don't seem to be getting any better.

True, but when Romo is put on IR by week 6, it won't matter.

This offensive line is a fatal flaw.

Your trying to talk common sense to idiots. Its like Ron White says " You cant fix stupid "

No you are wrong. Look at the 49ers they always look go..... ahhh look at the steelers they never look ba.... ahhh...... the eagles always wi.....n? Ah never mind.

Yeah?

And you could think any number of things after every other win we've had the past few years.

Some people can kinda, ya know, see beyond the simple W and recognize this team has some major problems.

Hard to get excited by these minor victories. By all means, if one win excites you so much that you can't talk about the negatives on this team, have at it. But if I just want a very brief period of excitement and fun when I watch TV I can think of a few dozen other things to watch. I follow the Cowboys and want more out of them than single wins here and there. I want consistency and a winner. They haven't shown that for a very long time.

I agree. A win is a win and our defense is looking great!

We have a 30th ranked offense and our QB looks on pace to be killed again.
is this real life? 30th?

Because the writing is on the wall man. Have you not watched any of the games? This offensive line will get Romo hurt for the season here any game now. It's going to happen. They are absolutely horrible. They are the most penalized group of guys I have ever seen in my life.

I did not come out of that game feeling excited at all. A win is a win but we can't block for Romo or Murray.

What was the most important part of the outcome today?

Why don't you learn football.

Because we won the battle, but there is serious doubt that we will win the war with the way the team is playing.

If people are so set on what this team is, don't watch the games. You're just wasting your day if you don't enjoy watching the game. Hell, I've seen more positive vibes in other teams forum after a loss than here after we win. It's the NFL people, it's all about the wins. If that doesn't satisfy you, then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe Cowboys are just greedy and expect perfection all the time... if that's your mindset, then you're gonna be constantly disappointed because no one is perfect.

Do I wish the offensive line can improve? Sure and if they do, we're gonna have a very good team. It's the only weakness we have right now. The offensive line improves, it gives Romo more time to throw and opens up holes for Murray. Our defense is doing well right now and is easily ten times better than last year so far, especially the secondary.

Sorry if I'm not joining in on everyone already giving up on the season, but that's not how I roll. If that makes me a polyanna or whatever, fine by me. We're 2-1 and tied for the NFC East lead. W's is all that matters in the NFL.
