Really?! You would think we lost today

Because our QB was almost assassinated today.

Learn football.

Last time I checked the team that has more points wins. Maybe you should learn sports.

For me -- I'm glad we won, but there are areas of the game I am disappointed in, specifically the penalties. It's a team that has lacked discipline for years and am hoping we improve in this field. Unfortunately we had numerous penalties while playing at home.

This team has a lot of potential, but overall, the weakness IMO is the O-line. That's a work in progress. But if we can remain healthy, limit penalties, and the O-line improves, we have the potential to be a very strong/good team. But again, the penalties is my biggest issue. I think it's fair to be disappointed with those.

I hope Tony is covered from head to toe in that carbon fiber armor next week

I will say that the defense isn't getting enough credit. Freeman had much better command in the previous two games. During the Carolina game, the announcers were commenting on how he had turned the corner, was making plays/decisions he didn't make last year, etc. Then, as we all know, he had a good game against NY. In this one, he was a deer in the headlights almost the entire game.

Great observation. TB was so concerned about Freeman that they continued to run the ball on obvious passing situations, 2 scores behind and minimal time remaining. If Freeman does not convert that last 4th and a mile, he would have been held to under 30 yards passing. The D was lights out until that final Bucks drive. And then Ryan's boys still held them to a field goal.

Three things to be happy about:

1. The Cowboys won.
2. The Commanders lost.
3. The Eagles lost.

I'm actually happy with this game... It showed me the Cowboys can win ugly. The offensive line will improve but dang it's taking a little longer than I would like. There is absolutely NO excuse for false start penalties at home.

Our D has been good but we'll be signing a QB of the streets by week 8 the way the OL is playing

There is clear reason to be concerned:

1) Witten has been atrocious ALL YEAR.
2) The OL - well..... we don't have one.
3) The penalties continue to mount at an unacceptable pace.
4) The play calling remains very questionable.
5) Special Teams play is awful.

You add these up and you (we) will get bit in the *** sooner or later.

Well I will say, its easy to point out the faults cause of the misery of the past, but some good things, and really great things happened out there.

Josh was held to 110 yards passing and 35.7% completion percentage, something I figure won't happen to him again this season. Rob made the adjustment to put Carr at safety some contributed to this, and now people here say its a horrible move after the performance of the D with the move was great cause we actually had talent at safety for a change.

Some people are just never happy unless they are miserable.

No some people live in reality not in the clouds. There is no way in he.. that this team will do anything with a Oline like this one. D played great but they dont score points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's kinda weird - when we win we have 13 penalties. Lose, and it's a more acceptable 5.

People like me are down, and rightfully so, because we understand the big picture. The Cowbyos won a battle yesterday, but judging by what we've seen from the offense and the OL for most of the year, we're not going to win the war.

We'll probably be 8-8 again. 9-7 if we're lucky.

The defense played great but my excitement for the defense is a bit tapered because the Buccaneers offense was conservative.

1. The Cowboys won. Looked real bad in doing so. Future looks bleak for season.
2. The Commanders lost. Looked real good in coming back and almost pulling it off. Future looks good
3. The Eagles lost. How they lost looks like the Eagles will not be 13-3 this year. Future looks like hope for the rest of the division. I like this!!!:)

See the comments above.

I understand we are all not like you, with your crystal ball and all, but point blank you just don't know what will happen, its just what you think.

And the excuse of them being conservative just doesn't give any credit to the D whatsoever, and is just plain wrong. Josh was held to a 35% completion percentage and 110 yards passing, lowest in years for him and probably the lowest he will have all season. Yet the D didn't cause that...it was cause the Bucs were conservative.....yeah right.

Sure the team isn't perfect, but all this sky is falling drama is a bit much.

Wait....so Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and the millions of viewers with eyesight were just imagining things?

Aikman and Buck were ripping the Bucs practically all day for being too conservative. Go back and watch and listen. You might learn something.

Your better off muting all announcers, especially Joe Buck. The day I learn something from Joe Buck will be the first.

Ask Josh what he thought, bet he saw the same thing Eli saw, he had very small windows to throw in and didn't have the WRs running wide open like he did against the Giants last week.

Sure, the team played bad in some areas, but the general thought I got from your post (maybe I'm wrong about what you said) was we did nothing right and just got lucky they went conservative....which is a long way from the truth.

Their receivers couldn't get open and our rush was getting to them. i watched the broadcast and the only time Aikman/Buck commented on it was on the last few possessions where TB was still running on first down the whole thing about managable first downs but they aren't converting on third downs.

Our defense dictated that. Our defense's play made them scared to try and pass on us.

We have the #1 defense in the league right now and you people refuse to give them credit. It's like you want us to suck.

What was the most important part of the outcome today?

Why don't you learn football.

If the most important part of football was the final score then why do teams analyze and RE-analyze film during the week? If it is the most important part they should be happy with the win, move on to the next game right? Wrong. The try and find out what they did wrong, what they can do to improve their game, and MOST IMPORTANTLY learn how to block more effectively so Romo isn't laid out and napping on the field again!

Just my two cents.

I didn't make a negative statement about the defense. I said they played great but that my excitement was tapered a bit because the Bucs' weren't aggressive with their play calling. That's just my opinion.

The only real problems I had with the team was the offensive line play.
