Reasons O-line is not doing that well

The real reasons why the O-line is not doing well:
- Flo is deaf
- Kosier it out - his replacement is audition for work in Spain "Ole"
- BIGG - he was a bust in Zona - now we know why
- Colombo - he is solid but he get beat he looks bad

the problem with the offensive line i think is culmatation of several things;
First, the cowboys changed to a new offenisive line coach as you know in Hudson Houck. He likes linemen with big rear ends and nasty dispostition. Our linemen basically lack that all except Columbo.
Second, I still think some of these offensive linemen are still full of themselves. If you look at game tape, the cowboys offensive linemen do use their hands and arms like brian baldinger showed on nfl network yesterday evening. Yet, at same time the offensive linemen feet doesnt follow suit. While the linemen strike with their hands and arms, shoulders, their feet stay behind them like stuck in cement.
Next, we have 2 backup offensive linemen in Free and McQuistan, and we all know as fans that Flozell is hurt and banged up, yet these backup linemen dont play, why?
Then, you can tell Proctor is getting pushed around badly etc, yet, Holland rarely plays, why?

Its more so of the mentality too like nate newton and larry brown said, you must have the mentality of smash mouth football, it looks like the cowboys arent in that kinda of mood and the coaches.
Yet, since the Commanders are smash mouth now, along with the eagles whom play smash mouth too, and the giants, the cowboys need to get in gear and head that way too and become smash mouth football players like the cowboys were in the early 90's.

yes, flozell is over 50 percent deaf in one ear from what i have heard. The cowboys have tried to get him to have an artificial hearing aid installed, but flozell says no.
And yes, with kosier out now, proctor is getting pushed around badly.

cowboyfan, i totally agree about flozell being pulled till he gets healed or at least can play better, but yet the cowboys refuse to put in mcquistan or doug free why?
just like in the cardinal game, defensive linemen were beating flozell around the edge badly, but yet doug free or mcquistan didnt play why?
its hudson houck's job to get those guys ready to play, and jason garrett's job to see when something isnt working you change it, but he hasnt, why?

I think you have a valid point and I would take it even further that we are in the shotgun WAY too much and we are either throwing the ball or running a draw, and the linemen are in pass protection mode. I honestly don't remember the team running so many shotgun formations last year.

under Norv we only had a handful of running plays.....so the defenses knew our running plays I am sure. However, it was an attitude with the OL, Moose, and Emmitt.
Just like in GB, they had the Sweep left or Sweep right....and dared you to stop it.
The skins had that counter to Riggins and dared you to stop it.
This OL doesn't dare the defense to do anything. Instead the OL plays as if they just had a manicure and their nails painted. I have never seen such a big group of men act so dainty. I am fully expecting to see a shot of them on the sidelines sipping tea, pinky up, and munching on crumpets.
