Reasons why winning this game would be great

There are some reasons besides a playoff berth why winning on Sunday would be great. It's our only shot at not finishing 8 and 8 AGAIN. A win means we're 9 and 7, in other words, a winning record! A win means we've swept the entire NFC East. Has any Cowboy team ever done that? I'm honestly not sure.

Of course the playoff berth is the most important reason. Making the playoffs and winning one playoff game would be a massive accomplishment for this team.

I believe 2007 or 2009 the year they went 13-3 then got smoked by the Giants in the playoff game.

1998 Cowboys swept the NFC East back when there were 5 teams. Ironically they lost the wild card game to the Cardinals, an NFC East opponent, back then.

That was 2007...in 2009 we beat Philly in the wildcard game and then got smoked by Minnesota in the divisional round.

As much as I want to win, if Dallas does, I dread the Kyle Orton bandwagon that will be calling for Tony Romo's release, trade, or deportation. Because you know that's what will happen.

Are you more a fan of Romo or the Cowboys, that's the question you have to ask yourself.

They can talk all they want because Romo is going nowhere.

I've always felt that we should have gotten rid of the Eagles and kept the Cards in this division.

I never really understood why we are in the East division anyway. Eagles, Giants, Skins makes sense. Cowboys, not so much.

With a nuked defense and their "Star" QB out- yes! Massive accomplishment!

Who do we give credit to?
Nobody on this board wants to give credit to anybody- except maybe Romo by some, but he isn't the whole team.

Who would we give credit to for a winning season and a Divisional Crown and a playoff berth despite all of the setbacks?

I know more than a few will give credit to nobody except for the fact that the NFCEast is historically at it's worst, and maybe it is, but I would like to see someone give some credit to this team if they can accomplish something this season.

Not impressed at all with sweeping the nfce which we wont because the eagles will win sunday. The nfc will never be this bad again in the next 30 years and dallas will still lose it.

They didn't get smoked... Crayon missed a wide open TD and Jacques Reeves blew chunks and couldn't hold position right before the half. Jacques Reeves and Anthony Henry are the reasons Jerry went and brought back Dave Campo and then proceeded to spend major dinero for Carr and draft picks for Mo. At least with Wade, we didn't give up five hundred yards on a regular basis despite these bums. Oh yeah, we also had Bradie James covering up the middle and Ayodele. Give this personnel to Kiffin, we'd give up like seven hundred yards a game.

In the same manner we always lose to good teams.. A blow out and Romo trying to make something happen free-styling...

that's the question a whole hell of a lot of people on here need to ask themselves.

i think the majority of people on here are fantasy football players myself.

could care less about being a true fan.

For me, slamming th4e door shut again on the Eagles is enough. Beyond the season this team has had or that guys like Witten and Romo deserve a shot at a ring. As improbable as that is.

Chan Gailey was fired immediately after losing that playoff game.......................think about that fellas.............Gailey was fired for losing a playoff game in only his 2nd season on the job and Opie cannot even break 500 and we are going on almost 4 seasons as him as head coach.

Amazing.
